La ubicación, la seguridad y la limpieza
Algo lento el servicio, la calidad del comedor tanto para desayuno como.cena no era la esperada en un Fairmont

The property is beautiful. Fabulous grounds and a nice pool. The fine dining restaurant TATU was delightful and the staff were very helpful and really nice.
The lift worked only about 10% of the time we were there.

Good selection of breakfast foods
The room was very tired and dirty in parts
The desk chair was disgustingly dirty
The bath plug and overflow were also dirty

It was built in 1904- so I loved the history of the place but it was so pretty! The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were so friendly and helpful

Located quite close to everything by car (we visited the Karen area and then went to the airport). Very tight security controls which make you feel safe. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious and clean but you still felt the charm of an old style of hospitality. We ate very well at the main restaurant, local food including tilapia, ugali and greens.
Ruined by the surroundings, it must have been charming when it was built, surrounded by greenery, it’s now immersed in traffic and buildings.

Gym and the grounds were well maintained. Breakfast buffet was very extensive, with more than you could try.
Room / bathroom were a good size with everything that I needed and more.

Excellent breakfast . An amazing choice of food - fabulous fruit, freshly cooked eggs, warm from the oven bakery items.

All staff were friendly and helpful with getting around and giving suggestions for restaurants and bars. The breakfast had many options and was excellent. The garden was lovely. Via the backdoor exit, you are at a short walk from the street market and the park that host the national museum.

This is a low rise hotel with some parts dating back 100 years. Staff are excellent.
My only criticism is that the pool area is largely enclosed by buildings and isn’t very appealing. That being said it is a city centre hotel and I suspect they had little choice.

Very friendly and helpful staff, lovely gardens
Maybe that you can hear noise in the corridors when in your room

The atmosphere, the beautiful building and Xmas decorations
Considering the standing of the hotel, one could expect the personal to be a bit more responsive when we order at breakfast or a drink.
The staff is always very helpful and polite but can be slow to respond

We had a great time here and would love to come back in the future. The hotel is beautiful and furnished with great taste. Apart from the main court yard, there’s a lovely and tranquil back garden as well and heated swimming pool. All of the staff are super friendly, and food in the restaurant is very well made, both breakfast and dinner. It’s a special experience in Nairobi to stay in a place with so much history.
