Unser zweiter Aufenthalt hier.

This was our 5th visit, this time to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary, and it was beyond perfect! We feel like family, not guests, and are always treated so beautifully by the owners Akylles, Ion and Fillipos. It’s truly special here - the spectacular views, incredible vegan food prepared for us, and stunning accommodation

So the position of the hotel it what perfect, for me the best beach of the island is literally at 300 metres. Service was very nice friendly and helpful. The food was really good. Some people write that the road to the hotel is not good this is true but it is not in the responsibility of the hotel

we got upgraded twice and we got offered a dirty suite that smelled of humidity and mold. the bedroom’s air conditioner was not working as well

The staff was very friendly and caring. Overall the location and the beach were nice. It was serene and surrounded by beautiful nature. the pool area was nice (even though we didn't use it. you can walk to the beach, but coming back is a struggle. So you need a car.
Somehow I expected something else. In general I was disappointed with the room, it was very small and had a strange old smell. The kettle was very dirty. Breakfast was okayish, but the restaurant area was rather small, so it started to get very crowded. We only ate once dinner, as we were very disappointed, the selection was very small and for vegetarians, there was basically nothing as a main course. The hotel is located 30min car drive form Gavrio and the last 10 min are on a not paved street, so you can max drive 20km/h and it does not have street lighting. Nearby places offered nice restaurant and option so to us having a car was a blessing, however the drive home was always a bit scary as it was completely dark and the road is not the best, that's why I was as well disappointed that they didn't offer more for dinner etc.

relaxing environment, nice restaurant without the need to drive anywhere, great beach nearby

Great view, nice suite though could be refreshed, stunning pool and spectacular nearby beach.
overpriced for the offer. what must have been a top resort 25 years ago needs some refreshing. having a full on kitchen in a suite is useless if the only things provided are a pan, 2 plates, 2 knifes and 2 forks... instant coffee for the room was provided upon request. The restaurant chose to have a buffet instead of a la carte menu.. paying 60 euros for spaghetti bolognese and a slice of porc is a really on the expensive side. Do prefer the restaurant on the beach bellow, more fun, and much much cheaper for better quality food. Breakfast had to be a miss because of the swarms of bees (am allergic) and the small number of tables in the shade. Also, the adds are slightly misleading, showing the same photos for all the room offers, and making one think this resort is only made of very few sea front villas/suites. our room. 101, had a nice view, but set far back mountain side. We did enjoy our stay nevertheless, but it came at a very high price for what it was.

amazing beach. amazing views.
the staff. l forgot my passports at the resort and went back to Athens. Ion and Phillip went above and beyond to send it back to me. I got it a few hours later thanks to those great people.

the village was in amazing location, the villa we stayed was big, clean with great view from the rooms and balcony. the pool was beautiful, clean and very enjoyable and zorgos bay under the village is few minutes by walking or you can drive to there. very enjoyable beach.
we disappointed from the food. breakfast was a little poor with cold dishes, lunch we ate at the restaurant in zorgos bay that was fine with authentic greek food and in the evening the restaurant in the village served buffet that was expensive relatively priced in Greece (30 € per person 15€ for children ) and most dishes were not tasty, for us. because this is the only option in the village and around, we ate there. other option is to cooking in the room. we have big kitchen but we prefer not cooking in the holiday.

The pool is lovely when you can get a seat and it's a beautiful location. If it wasn't so overpriced and I hadn't felt conned by the advertisement I would have rated it higher. Food was average. We went in August so I wasn't surprised the place was swarming with wasps and hornets, which made breakfast difficult as there's so many and they won't leave you alone but if you can get to the uncovered buffet, the staff at least let us take it up to our rooms.
It's very overpriced for what it is. The lock on our door was broken when we arrived and the lights didn't work. Also the sheets were too small for the bed, which made us laugh at least, and the room wasn't ready until about 4pm. The lock was fixed but no-one ever came to fix the light. I asked a couple of times but in the end we just made do with the bedside light. The staff were friendly but I felt bad for them as I think there's only about 4 of them and they do everything, which is probably why nothing got done, and it wasn't very clean. The bathroom in particular was a bit gross.
The biggest problem in my opinion is the misleading advertising and inconsistency of rooms. We opted for a garden room and even on site we could see the ones advertised which we would have been happy with but what we were given was a terrace shared with a young family without much of a view, so probably would have been better to go for the basic room as it was less expensive.
It could be very nice if some effort was put into it but unfortunately that was lacking. If it wasn't so expensive it would have been fine. The location is beautiful but I have stayed in better quality premier inns.

spacious and well equipped villas with good distance to neighbors. stunning view, amazing pool, Phantastic beach. great Chef which made every dinner a great experience
it worked for us, however, it is good to know that it is a 30 min car ride to the port and else there is nothing. final stretch of the road is non-paved.

One of the most beautiful stays we ever have in Greece. The location - like a card postal, the facilities? A series of luxurious and independent Villas harmoniously positioned on the landscape valley, paying full attention and respect to the natural environment. The hotel is situated above one of the best beaches in the Cyclades - Zorgos in a protected Natura environment.
Our stay in Aegean Blue is proof of luxury living in a natural environment with all facilities and services of a modern and luxury resort.
Our stay was strengthened by the strong personality and service of the hotel owners Mr Akyllas Anagnostidis and his sons. We left Aegean Blue with new friends and will surely re-visit this fabulous hotel shortly.
The operation of a pool bar will further enhance the accommodation.

The staff were wonderful and saw to our every need.
The location is amazing and beautiful. A 2 minute drive to one of the best beaches in Andros.
The villas were well equipped and spacious. Isolated but only a two minute walk to the restaurant and pool.
The location was remote. 30 minutes away from the closest town with the last 3 km a dirt road. It's drivable in a regular car, but slow and very bumpy. And a bit of a white-knuckle drive after dark. Watch out for goats on the road! 🙂

Staff was very nice and helpful.
Daily cleaning was good, wiping the floors ect.
Nice pool
Landscape is quite rugged, so there is a lot of insects around, there is nets in the windows though.

Great quiet location, next to the most beautiful beach of the island. The facilities were built in harmony with the surrounding nature.

One of the most beautiful places we have seen in Greece, the location is breathtaking!
The two brothers who runs the place are true professionals and all about helping out and making the guest's time perfect, truly 10 out of 10 hosting
The only real weak spot is the restaurant in the place, the prices are pretty high and the food is so so. The do have a great collection of wines.
In our beautiful room we had a big window facing the sea, witch was great, but there weren't any curtains - so the sun woke us up in 05:40 am
They did offer us a different room, so it was ok
