Coole vibes in JBay

Met een trappetje vanuit de tuin loop je zo het strand op, dat vonden wij echt fantastisch. Het is echt een hele coole plek om te verblijven.

De bedden waren wel keihard. En ook wel even goed om te weten (daar hadden we ons een beetje op verkeken): het centrum van JBay was dan weer 30 min op loopafstand, wel 5 minuten met de auto. Maar daar heb je niet altijd zin in.

Our stay was very relaxing and hassle-free.

The location is perfect being so close to the beach yet completely private. Just a short path through some trees and you're on the beach from where you can walk forever in both directions. A perfect place for breakfast a short beach walk away and a lovely restaurant for dinner is also within walking distance.

Fantastic service. We had everything we needed and it was a most enjoyable stay from every aspect.

The service and warmth was amazing from the beginning. The setting and location is amazing, being right close to the Supertubes and able to walk onto the beach. The views from the room is fabulous.

There were a few plumbing issues while I was there, but they were quickly addressed. It would be nice if the trees could be cut down a little as they really inhibit the view of the surfers.

Um lugar delicioso!

Ótimo hotel! Muito perto da principal praia dos surfistas. Não tem café da manhã mas tem uma cozinha compartilhada e o quarto que ficamos (apartamento de 2 quartos) tinha uma cozinha completa novinha! Tem estacionamento e cortinas black out que deixavam o quarto bem escuro. Dá pra ir a pé no supermercado e em um ótimo restaurante (Nina's).

Ambience and the clustering of surfboarders.

Slow wifi speed, but acceptable. The bathroom tap is without cap on end to allow smooth spray.

Amazing ocean view, great location.

There was a confusion with our room. Double booking. When I opened my unit, someone else were already checked in and showered😶 Cold showers were also unfortunately on the menu.

Location is awesome, and the view sublime. The beach is short stumble away. Staff were excellent!

Surfboard racks need work but I am nitpicking.

Superb

Great location and good facilities. Everything was clean and kitchen had all the basics that you need.

The towels need replacing, and just need to note the fact that this is a wooden house and if you have people staying in a room above you, you will hear them walking around. The people above us were very loud even after 1am in the morning.

Exceptional

This was the perfect place to stay overlooking Super Tubes. My sons and I had a great holiday and this accommodation was just right for us. It was great value for money. We will definitely come back again.

Superb

Smooth check-in and instructions, but most notably was the stunning location! The terrace just overlooks the surf break and the garden is an idyllic hang-out option!

could have been better

big room, with beautiful sea view. easy access to the beach. AC warm which is needed during winter.

the shower is hot but not enough pressure, feels like the water is just dripping. there’s a fire pit outside, so when we were trying to sleep at 11pm, there were guests outside talking and laughing out loud, and the staff didn’t do anything about it even though we sent message on WhatsApp. the following morning they didn’t say anything, not even apologize for the inconvenience.

On the beach

I stayed in the budget option of their rooms, (Room number 5) It had a nice patio to enjoy morning coffee or sundowner, The upstairs communal lounge has a view over Supertube where u can watch the surfers antics. On my last day there I watched a whole school of dolphins swimming by about 30 metres from shore, there were so many I think it took them 5 mins to swim by. Dont miss out on going to "Vis mandjie" for their unbelievable fish and chips at very low price or Nanas Monday curry night.

I had to leave.

Im not a surfer but really got the JBay feeling iof being in one of the world’s best surfing spots

l was we welcomed in true African friendship and shown all the facilities .I enjoyed walking on the beach the view is world class .

Lovely place excellent staff!

We stayed in the apartment and it was a good size for a family. Everything you might need in the kitchen. Lovely outside seating area and communal braai. Easy access to a beautiful beach. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

wonderful stay

the staff was so so kind/helpful/mindful///bonus was to have a late check out the area / the walk to the beach/the deco/the beauty of the place/ the staff being helpful and mindful and caring for my mother who has walking challenges and even offered my mother a bigger room with bigger bed everything was perfect and to all staff==== keep it up ladies - your kindness makes the heart warm you all deserve triple bonux

Both the location and room were very good.

The staff does not wear uniforms. It seems as if they are made to work/clean in their own clothes. Really not fair treatment of the staff and not nice to see that they are not provided with work clothes.

Best find. All round winner. Beautiful apartment in an excellent location with stunning views

Beautiful setting and views even from your bed to wake up to. Large comfortable private patio. Beautifully decorated spacious rooms. Loved the whole layout of the place. Easily able to walk our mini dachshund. Staff helpful & friendly. Maybeline went above & beyond she was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you Maybeline
