Lovely owners , nice spacious room with shower room , spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast , great location 8 minute walk to beach ,good bus links ... had brilliant time well recommend ..

Absolutely loved it here! Felt very welcomed from the moment we walked in. Room was really nice and comfy. Breakfast was lovely. Everything was easy to get to, such as train station, bus stop, sea front. We loved it that much we've already booked for next year! Thank you for making us feel so welcome!

Breakfast was very good - choice of full English, eggs on toast, bacon and egg muffin, cereals, yoghurts, fruit, toast. Selection of hot drinks..
Bedrooms, en-suites, breakfast room and hallway all beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Put sweets in our room each day for the 6 year old child who was with us.
The only change I would like to see would be to iron out the hill from the sea front!!!!!

The b&b was spotless, very clean. It was close to plenty of things to do, not far from the beach. The hospitality from Dave was excellent.

Great location so handy for everything. Very clean and comfortable room, lovely breakfast, loads of choice from the buffet and the cooked breakfasts made to order.
Dave was very helpful advising us on days out as were the other guests during our breakfast chats. We had a brilliant 10 days stay. Thank you from Pauline and John

Friendly, clean hotel. Bed was amazingly comfortable! Great location as it's within easy walking distance of anything you'd want.
The hairdryer barely worked.
Aside from that, I can only say good things about this hotel.

Nice and clean property. location perfect 10 mins walk from Torquay harbour, 8 mins walk from train station. Local bars and restaurants only a few mi s walk away. Breakfast was superb, hosts fantastic and knowledgeable about local area

Having never visited Torquay we had no idea what to expect or where best to stay. We opted for this B&B based on the reviews and the fact they have free parking. The Mariners did not disappoint. We managed to get 1 of the 3 parking spaces available on site and didn't have to move the car until we checked out due to the perfect location. Just a 5/10 minute walk to the sea front where there are several restaurants and shops to visit. We were also able to walk to Babbacombe in just 35 minutes to enjoy the model village and tea rooms. Dave couldn't do enough in terms of hosting and gave us advice of what to do, where to go and really took care of us during breakfast. Amazingly friendly, very clean, perfect location and great breakfast options. Value for money. Would highly recommend.

The hotel was spotless, the hosts were very polite and referred to guests by their name , we were surprised by a lovely birthday gift and card left in our room they'd no need to do this and it meant a lot . We will certainly be booking with them in the future. Thank you for a lovely break.
