Incredible and clean!

Everything was so clean! The manager at the front desk was very kind and efficient. Super cute, old style hotel. Perfect for my needs with a great view of the city!

Very good

The location was excellent, close to old town and the lake. The staff were v helpful and friendly.

The single bed for 1 person was a little mean in size, i'd prefer a queen size.

Don't expect value for money...

The location is excellent; a short stroll to Lac Leman & easy walking to the Old Town. The room was also very clean with sufficient space in the bathroom & a well-equipped kitchenette.

The crane mentioned in a 2022.review is still there as is the dated decor and stained carpet! Construction started at 7am. I unfortunately paid over the odds as I had a bad experience with an AirBnB and needed a Place stay for 4 nights. Even accounting for the fact that it's Geneva it was incredibly expensive for what the single-bed room was. They also had a long term resident with a yappy dog that barked at the poor cleaners/service personnel. Overall not a bad place to stay but I did not feel I got value for money probably because the booking was last minute for which I had no choice.

Good location near major transport interchange

Facilities were reasonable and the location was good.

There was a power failure affecting the Hotel caused by workman outside the hotel. This caused considerable disruption during my stay.

Budget hotel in a great location. Try to check the room beforehand.

Excellent location in the centre of old town. Nice view from the higher floor.

Someone had smoked in the room previously. Furthermore, the air was not fresh, there was something damp, etc. Luckily, I could open the window. As an allergic, one night was a maximum I could stay. Self-service check-in, which was OK, but I had some problem with finding a door code, so I needed to wait for another guest to come and open the door.

Location and helpfulness of the staff. I needed an adapter and the cleaning lady was extremely helpful and lent me one immediately.

Nobody at the reception outside of core office hours, which means that if you travel for business you never see a receptionist

Disappointed

The hotel is well located in a nice part of Geneva, close to the old city center

- The lift was not operational and the room was on the 6th floor. - There is large building renovation taking place next door, with noisy demolition work starting at 6 am The owner should have made that information clear prior / during booking. - no braekfast / restaurant options - small rooms with single beds. - very warm heating without option to manage the temperature from the room. - expensive in comparison with similar options in Geneva

The opposite of customer service

This was without a doubt the most bizarre and unpleasant experience I've ever had at a hotel in Europe. I arrived as expected on a Sunday, and the hotel had not sent the instructions for accessing my room. I managed to get into the lobby, and there was a young woman sitting at the reception desk. Unfortunately she couldn't speak either English or French, and summarily dismissed me. I called the number and sent an email to the contacts that were given in the reservation, and I did not get a reply. After waiting for some time, I had no choice but to give up and find another hotel to stay in. But the worst part of all was that the hotel staff, who finally emailed me back the next day, refused to acknowledge the problem and even charged my credit card for the stay that never happened. Unbelievable.

Perfect location in Geneva

Hotel is very well located as it's right in the city center close from all attractions and public transport. A lot of food options around and it has a very nice view. One of the good options to stay in Geneva during work trips.

Rooms are quiet small but for Geneva standards it's perfectly fine.

Not good value.

Friendly reception. Basic kitchen facilities. Clean.

Very expensive for a very very basic room. Fan only in sweltering heat. Narrow single bed. I had to wake up every time I turned. Reminded me of student days.

Superb

Great location in the center of old Geneva, and every sense of a historical building.

It's pretty hot in our room, which is an attic/loft room, but Geneva doesn't get as hot as this year I believe.

GREAT SERVICE AND GOOD VALUE IN THE CENTRE OF TOWN

Nothing was too much trouble for the manager, Fred. He was really excellent. Likewise, the cleaning lady was also very good. The location, just a few steps from the centre of the historical district in one direction and the lake in the other, couldn't be better.

The safe didn't work and the fridge was rather noisy - but these are minor issues.

More than comfortable

Everything was just great. Very good location to reach the airport and the UN, and many shops and restaurants around. It features a kitchenette, so one can make some food or warm it up, if needed.

The hook for the shower in the bathroom was located very low, so you cannot stand under the water. But the rest was just wonderful!
