Typisch maltesisches Hotel mit viel Charme

Direkt vor den Toren Mdinas, sehr zentral mit ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten. Zimmer war komfortabel, groß, schön eingerichtet mit kostenlosem Wasser/Tee und mit separatem Ankleidezimmer. Bad war sauber und neu renoviert. Ich würde wieder kommen 😊

Wasserdruck war zu gering Sehr schöner, typisch maltesischer Balkon bräuchte allerdings etwas Renovierung

Historical hotel with great location and helpful storm

Great location, the staff was super helpful with my late check in. All around great, the room was clean and spacious, hot water and towels in a huge bathroom and I would definitely stay here again

Excellent for access to Mdina

Staff were surly and unhelpful Kettle leaked and on reporting this the member of staff seemed very put out and seemed to imply that he had better things to do. The kettle was not replaced When paying for a meal the surly waitress seemed annoyed at having to let me off €0.15 simply because I had no change, neither did she clearly. Would never return, fortunately we were there for only 1 night. Food was very mediocre. Finally the shower was completely useless. Attempted to have a shower at 2000, there was no hot water

All in all, was a pleasant stay, but just lacking attention to detail in a lot of areas.

Great location if you want to stay near Mdina, can see the city from the hotel. Good air con in room and in breakfast room. Staff friendly enough. Generally clean room and facilities. Electricity continued within the hotel even throughout area wide power cuts, presumably thanks to a backup generator.

Breakfast was limited and average quality. Pillows were not very comfortable- 1 incredibly firm and one very soft and lumpy, too high with both, too low with 1. Water only ran warm/hot, no cold from the tap. Keys had to be left when going out for the day, which wasn't well monitored. Felt like anybody could walk in and help themselves to the room key. Also, area provided for leaving luggage on day of departure was a communal space in a corridor to other rooms and not very secure. Didn't have any problems, but didn't feel confident that they couldn't quite easily arise.

Nice place

The staff was nice. I got a discount in the restaurant itself. Everything went well and easy. Room was nice too. Maybe a bit on the colder side(I had to heat with AC), but this is a plus in the summer. Also the food was REALLY good. I had ribs.

Possibly the best location for your stay in Malta

Very nice housing, amazing location, 2 minutes away from the Mdina Gate. 1 minute away from bus stop. Nice view. The rooms were very clean, comfortable beds. Every day we found a bottle of water for every person in the room, which was very nice, especially in those evenings when we forgot to buy ourselves water. The breakfast was very good, and it offered a good variety. Good coffee, and the staff was very kind.

Very good

Basically a cafe/resturaunt with B/B upstairs. Locals use this so has to be good. Good reasonable. 100mts on Mdina gate and city. Across road from Rabat with church and catacombs. Great local Sunday market. Next to bus stop. Bus ride to mosta. Great location. Looks ropy on arrival but pleasant place. Room view attached.

Right at the doorsteps of the citadel, lots of parking close by and amazing owners! The restaurant attached to the guest house had good food as well.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Bed linen and towels were all very clean. It is right in the middle of Rabat and Mdina so everywhere is walking distance. Breakfast is really good as you get to choose from a menu and it is cooked fresh there and then. We really enjoyed the stay!

Good location to explore m'dina and Rabat. Room size was good and the breakfast was also plentiful and tasty.

Very noisy with ongoing construction, not sure if this was to do with the hotel, but hammering started at 0730 right beside our room.

I enjoyed my stay, and highly recommend the guesthouse (location, stuff and room's view).

The location of the hotel was excellent (just across the old walls of Mdina). Two more exceptional elements were the view from the room's window to the valley, very quiet and calm, and the extremely helpful and friendly stuff. Also, the room was very spacious and clean.

Only two minor notes: it would have been useful to have also a "low", very soft pillow for the bed and have the possibility to have breakfast at least from 07.30.

Just perfect !

I stayed for one night. And i had a very nice room. I also ate my dinner at the restaurant downstairs. And had a delicious burger. Also the breakfast menu was very good. And it's right at the Mdina city gates. A very beautiful medieval city.

fabulous people, location, food and views

the location was fantastic, short walk to Mdina for stroll, and so close to the famous eateries in Rabat! but most of all we love the people, so welcoming and fun loving to our little boy. restaurant downstairs so easy to grab breaky , lunch or dinner after long trip. also close to a gorge new park for children, which was good to run the energy out for our 2 year old :)

literally loved everything - recommend getting room with a full balcony (as opposed to just Maltese balcony).. see that you have room to sit out and enjoy the stunning views
