Entspannt!

Sehr gutes Frühstück! Auf Wunsch wird auch abends sehr gut traditionell gekocht. Das Zimmer war sehr großzügig mit einer guten Klimaanlage. Sehr freundliche, liebenswerte Familie, die sich um jeden Gast persönlich kümmert. Der Besitzer hat mich persönlich mit einem Kanu durch die Mangrovenlagune geführt.

Good value Cabana

The Cabana was great for the price. Provided hot water and a lovely location right on the beach. There was a powercut during our stay so the host brought us candles and cooked dinner for us for a decent price. Comfy bed too! A lovely restaurant quite close called Dream Family - highly recommend!

The room is basic and quite dark with limited natural light. The curtain also doesn't fully cover the window so limited privacy. A few cockroaches in the bathroom but thats not the hosts fault. Overall a great place for the value 😊

Great and quiet location.

Very nice cabannas and close to the beach. Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Rwan was very nice and helped us to organise activities in Tangalle (turtle watching, cannoes in the lagoon, etc) and did everything possible to make feel us comfortable despite the current limitations in the country.

Wi-fi didn't reach the house.

Everything nice, we came only for one night and we stayed five nights.Very nice familly which prepared for us good food, especcialy fish for our good bye dinner. Good localization, right on the beach and lagoon. Very helpfull people and calm area. I really recomend this place

Quiet location right on the beach. Restaurant with excellent home-made food. One of the best dinners we have had in Sri Lanka.

Far away from the city center (great for those who seek peace and quiet).

Lovely place

Lovely family place with awesome owners. Perfect location, peacefull and so close to the beach. Very comfortable bed. Great quality with this price.

bungalow was a little too dark inside, only one window and I love places with a lot of natural light. And also there was problem with Internet, wi-fi didn't work in bungalow and close to it and the same with mobile's data (what of course isn't owners' fault).

Everything!! The truly lovely place located at the beaitiful seaside, very clean and equipped with everything you need, at a very good price! And the owners....the most friendly couple I met. They helped me with everything, arranging scooter rental, taking me to the bus station, we talked a lot and I felt like home :) Thank you for everything, wish you all the best and I hope to come back !!

Poor

The bungalow and the beach. If it wasn't the inappropriate behaviour of the host, the stay would be great.

I'm very sorry but it is my first bad opinion. The bungalow and beach was very nice, but that what happend us from the host was the sadest thing we had experienced on Sri Lanka. Host offered us a lunch and after lunch he said that will be 1500rs. We confirmed that this price was for the whole meal. He told normaly charge 2100 rs for that lunch but we are his guest so this is price for us. We told thanks and told him lunch was good and this price is good for us. After 3h he told us we have to paid almost 3 times more for this lunch (4000rs, without drinks). We were in shock becasue this price was higher to the dinner in exclusive restaurant in this area (the day before when the host offered us the fish he told us it is ordinary dish which he serves his family as well). When I wanted to talk with host and to tell him is not ok and the first price was different he yelled at me and told me bad carma for me and he doesn't want our bad money. He claimed that we misunderstood him but we know what he said (his english is fluent). He didn't want to discuss and told us to leave becasue we disturb him. This situation was very sad for me and the behaviour of our host made my very upset. Now I'm upset to put such review for Lankas host but this situations destroyed half of my stay in Tangalle. And the end the invoice included "only" double the price we initialy confirmed. We just paid to close the discussion but we were not happy.

Highly recommended stay with a beautiful surroundings!

Great localization next to the beach. Possibility to get a breakfast or dinner at place. Delicious breakfasts with the homemade jam! Comfortable room with a great bathroom. Kind and helpful owners, always willing to help!

Great value for money! Recommend it!

Great value for money! Big comfortable beds, shower with hot water, directly at the beach. Everything is quite simple but functioning. Food is good as well! Located next to many other "fancier" places, so you have many options available to hang out.

The beach is beautiful, but you can't get into the water there (sea urchins, rocks, waves and currents). Need to walk for a bit to be able to swim.

Relaxing romantic stay in a boutique cinnamon wood treehouse by the sea!

we stayed in a beautifully designed cinnamon wood treehouse. built on two stories overlooking an inlet from the sea where monkeys swung in the surrounding treetops clearly visible along with numerous birds from our viewing platform. ensuite shower room and super comfortable large bed with good mosquito net and citronella incense sticks meant mosquitos were not a problem. our host Ruwan was always happy to help with anything we needed including scooter rental and tuk tuks.

beach directly in front was beautiful but a little rocky for swimming.
