Hermoso lugar alejado pero cerca

El personal es muy amable, Marta se portó excelente. El lugar es súper lindo distanciado de los ruidos, tranquilo.

Las camas, los colchones y almohadas Contar con una heladerita hubiese sido bueno. Mejorar un poco la calidad de los balos.

I would definitely come back, this place is one for the books and I am blown away by the staff, the views and the amenit

The place was fantastic! Everyone working made the ranch feel like home and it was a highlight of our trip down to Colombia. Sunset views are unbeatable, staff is incredibly friendly and will go the extra mile to make sure your stay is worth it. Also, lots of dogs around the property, whom we grew fond of very quickly!

Exceptional

The location, near to Salento is key when visiting "Eje Cafetero", close to many tourists places made it a great place to stay.

One night We wanted a dinner but there was no possibility to have one as they only offer small snacks during the night, is not bad at all but it could be a thing to check for the future. Another thing to improve could be the pillows.

Exceptional

We loved everything about it. It's a quiet and beautiful place to stay. You can escape from the crowded Salento here perfectly. And if you seek to go to Salento there is a bus running 3x an hour very close to el Rancho. We had a wonderful time watching birds and fireflies. The owner is a warm-hearted person who's passion for the surrounding nature is contagious:) The rooms are spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and the shower warm.

Beautiful and confortable place to relax, disconnect and appreciate nature.

The owner, his sons and the staff were available and willing to help with what ever we needed. The grounds, horses, river, hike to Salento from the farm were outstanding. Very quiet and tranquil environment out in nature yet not far from the town. The hike to Salento from the farm is about 45 minutes. Salento is less than a 10 minute drive from the farm and Transportation is provided by the owner or sons. Breakfast was good; for other meals there was no vegetarian options. Salento provided good vegetarian options.

4km from Salento

Lovely finca surrounded by nature. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Very big bathroom. The staff were very helpful.

This place is tricky if you are not coming in your own car. The location is further away from Salento than is indicated on Booking (it is about 4km away). To reach the hotel by public transportation, you need to take a bus from the Salento terminal (they leave every 20 min) which still leaves you a 10-minute walk from the hotel (you can call the managers and they will come and pick you up). In addition, only very basic food is served at the rancho (arepa, ham&cheese sandwich), so you cannot decide to just stay at the hotel for a couple of days and just enjoy the location. If you have a car, these issues disappear and this place is perfect

A beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting . A bit removed from Salento.

Only problem was booking site says 1.7 km and it is further to Salento.. We had planned to walk each day but that was not possible. Had to pay for taxi or uber each time. Only other concern was noisy when a guest was in the next room . Could hear every word. Other than that this hotel is delightful.

Stay away.

Nothing.

The description is not accurate for the property. 1. Far from town. If you don’t have a car, don’t stay here. 2. The access is a dirty road in terrible conditions. 3. The property has no food services and there is nothing near. 4. No hot water. 5. The bed linens were dirty. 6. The mattress was hard and old. 7. The room has no ventilation and therefore terribly humid.

Great service and comfortable accommodation in a beautiful spot!

Camillo was an exceptional host and gave us some great recommendations and even drove us in and out of Salento town when he could. Breakfast was very tasty and staff were very friendly :) the bed was very comfortable and the hotel was situated in a beautiful spot on the hill just outside the town. We Loved Mila the hotel dog too :) Highly recommend.

Rich in nature.

Friendliness of the staff. The place is so cozy. It has a unique view of the whole nature.

The road heading to the hotel needs lighting to guide drivers.

Peaceful place with super friendly and helpful owners and staff!

The owners and staff go above and beyond to assist and accommodate. As the property is a bit outside of Salento, (peaceful!) they help with transport and there is also a path offering excellent views, worth the trek up or down from Salento at least once. Our Spanish is not great, but that was not an issue, the friendly staff and owners found ways to communicate or made sure a family member with good English could help, this was not expected but made things even easier for us. The most welcoming place we stayed, for 3 nights, in Colombia.

Excellent location, quiet and beautiful scenery. If you want to disconnect and relax, this is the place for you.

Only one thing. There was hand soap instead of shower gel/soap in the shower.

Superb

.The owner, the staff, the location, the quietness... Perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the magnificent venue. Very helpful and so nice, they recommended authentic places to go. He booked for us. Incredibly nice all of them.

A bit noisy in the room. You can hear everything from the other rooms ( the last night some guest were particularly loud in the room next door)

Exceptional

Location is gorgeous - so peaceful & the rooms are so clean and cosy. Only a short journey into the town. The staff are so lovely and accommodating - they went above and beyond. So many things to do around the area - hiking, horse riding, exploring the town. Loved our stay at the Ranch, would recommend anyone to put it on their Colombia to do list! 10/10

really enjoyed

- it is in a such beautiful area, outside Salento but we had a car so it was really easy. - we had some minor issues with electricity and hot water, but this is everywhere in villages area. - the staff was really nice and kind. - it was clean so I felt comfortable to sleep, I had this problem in many places. (comparing with other places in Colombia, not Europe) - parking spot it is a plus - the views there are spectacular

- they don’t have good coffee - it is not closeby Salento center, like if you wanna eat out you need definitely a car or to ask them to take u

Amazing people - amazing view

First of all - the staff is amazing! They were super friendly and such helpful people I've seldomly experienced! We could always call the English speaking owner and he organized everything for us while we didn't know how to come back he sent the very friendly receptionist to pick us up for 15$ which was really cheap. They also brought us to another hotel since we couldn't find another taxi. Thank you again - we don't take this for granted at all :))) The view in the mornings was stunning and the room comfy and in case we needed something - they were always happy to help.
