The bedroom was very clean, The bed was super comfy and the shower was great. The breakfast was good too, Delicious Welsh cakes. Views from my window were stunning.
The hosts stopped serving dinner at 7pm and we arrived at 8pm, so we had to go into Brecon for supper.

We stayed for one night to do some walking in the area. The welcome in the evening was lovely and there were 3 other dogs in the bar which made us feel very welcome with our dog. Food was okay - great for meat eater, a little less so for vegetarian. The room was good - had everything we needed. Breakfast was back in the bar and restaurant (bar for us as we had the pooch) which was a bit lacking in atmosphere in the morning. The food selection was okay on the buffet, the cooked breakfast was excellent.
The biggest issue was that it was right on a main road which was quite noisy in the night, especially as we like to sleep with the window open. Would have been nice if the fire was lit in the bar for breakfast - was cold and a little lifeless in there.

I booked this stay for my elderly parent and his dog. From the moment he arrived, he was made to feel welcomed. All of the staff were very attentive and exceeded all expectations. Impressive service.
I honestly don't have anything to write here. Faultless

Very welcoming staff and great rooms
Quite noisy for traffic of a night with windows open- no fault of the pub.
Fire safety could be better - extinguisher by front door not accessible, fire door in lobby not closed and bedroom doors should have drop seals fitted.

The room was nice and the bed was comfy
There was a few marks up the stairs to the rooms and our room wasn't refilled with milk, tea and coffee, we purposely didn't put the don't not disturb notice on the door, so this could be refilled.

First impression l wasn’t sure because of were it was situated. However my welcome by Linda was so warm and pleasant along with her staff. When l saw our room l was impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the room . We were both impressed with our breakfast and we had an evening meal there which was a delicious roast .
My first thoughts was it’s position but my apprehension was soon dismissed .

A good choice for breakfast. The hot breakfast was cooked to order so always fresh and hot.
There was a good and varied dinner menu with something to suit all tastes. The Sunday roast was delicious with everything cooked to perfection, especially the rare beef.
The room was a good size for 2 and the bed was very comfortable.
Linda and Andy and their staff were always eager to help.
There could have been more fruit choices at breakfast, as there were only tinned peaches.

The room was clean with a very comfortable bed and the en-suite shower was fantastic, staff were friendly and for the inn being situated at a road junction it was surprisingly quiet.

Warm welcome on arrival. Off road parking for motorcycles (not secure, bring a chain, railings that could be used). Good, hot showers with plenty of water pressure. Good selection of beers & top notch food. Polite, friendly staff. Would use again.
I found the bed to be a little on the soft side but that's my personal preference. It didn't stop me having a good night's sleep.

Friendly personal attention.
English breakfast a bit sparse. 1 rasher of bacon, 1 sausage, mini portion of beans.
Fruit limited to a few tinned peaches,.
