Very good

This is the best place to stay at the area of Chernomorets and Sozopol. Location is perfect, next to the beach and the complex is very well organized.

Since this was our seventh year of summer vacation on this site we noticed that some issues. There was broken furniture in the rooms as well as one of the pools was out of order. However the kitchen in main restaurant was much better compared to last year. And the staff was very polite.

Excellent stay, looking to book another in a few months.

Service was very good. Staff was friendly and spoke English very well. The main restaurant was very good. Water supply was shut down in the city but hotel made sure we got extra drinkable water for washing. Pools and beach front was very nice. Air conditioned rooms.

One bathroom in the 2 bed room apartments. Sharing this with my parents and small daughter was tough at times.

Awesome place to relax and enjoy the see.

The restaurant is great, the atmosphere too. Very good place to relax with your family. Beach is right in front of your room. Very spacious and great outdoor planning. Recommend.

Rooms need a bit of touch to make them a bit more comfy, example there is no coat hanger, or a simple welcome rug carpet could make big difference.

Great stay for opening the season

Apolonia Resort has one of the best locations you can get in Chernomorets/Gradina/Sozopol. The facilities are well maintained, the staff is very friendly and polite. It is quiet, the rooms are spacious enough and they offer a nice beach view. The breakfast could have offered more variety, but the restaurant staff were kind enough to cook eggs and sausages for us, when we arrived for breakfast. There is enough parking space to park your car.

Great location. Two pools for kids and 2 normal ones. Very good restaurant. Exceptional breakfast - one of the best I ever had! Comfortable studio with everything you need. Very friendly staff.

The bathroom a bit old. If refreshed, the accommodation would be at the highest standard. A bit expensive.

Great location but for a great price

In general - the hotel by its amazing BREAKFAST, location, staff, volume and numerous facilities like outdoor gym, close beachfront, restaurants, shops, parking conditions(new), sea view and proximity to Burgas. There was also high cleanliness level and seemed like a lot of staff was involved in maintenance of the place.

The apartment itself was kinda worn-out for that price: bathroom leaking water(no bathtub), the living room was kinda small (bad sofa choice), wifi and A/C not working, beds not comfy and a lot of mosquitos going in from somewhere. Elevator was not working for a day and we had a baby carriage to the 5th floor. I think it was way too overpriced.

Stuff did not respond to our request to repair a clogged shower. Shower remained clogged throughout our stay.

Good

The room was nice and clean. The inner part of the resort is pretty and the pools are nice. The newly-open italian restaurant has good food (except the desserts) and nice staff. The resort is right on the beach. Most staff speak English well.

Our building was next to a construction site / wasteland, which made for a depressing view while climbing the stairs to our room - not really a 4-star experience. Avoid building D if you can. The extra charge for sea view wasn't really worth it, as the view was mostly obstructed by the restaurant's damaged sunroof. One morning, there was no running water (neither hot nor cold) in the bathroom for around 20 minutes. The door to the room wouldn't stay closed unless locked. There were no mosquito nets on the windows/balcony door, although there were mosquitoes. If you're looking for relaxation make sure there is no private event booked during your stay.

Bring your own beach towels!

Nice location. Friendly staff and clean rooms! The breakfast is good!

"Seaview" doesn't mean you can see the sea (unless you are hanging out over the balcony). The bathroom is not well designed. E.g. taking shower you flooded the entire room. Going to the resort's beach you have to pay extra for chairs and umbrellas. I don't expect paying extra for such when you are staying at a premium resort.

A resort that will take your money and not provide the standards to match

Advantage - Sozopol - it’s nearby and the restaurants are a lot better than the hotels - The man who brought our luggage to our room was nice

Disadvantages - Sea View SCAM - We paid £50 extra for a sea view and we could not see the sea. When we spoke to the marketing manager she informed us that booking.com states any room with at least 30% of sea view is allowed to be priced at a premium but we had less than 1% of a sea view. (Picture of Sea View attached) - Marketing Manager - when we queried the extra price for the sea view she informed us that there was no central sea view rooms at the hotel and the only thing she could do was cancel our reservation. This shows a lack of confidence in the resort from the managing team. - Pool - the pool was filthy with dirt across the pool floor and did not see anyone attempt to clean it. (Picture of pool attached) - Breakfast - left out and was cold. None of the food was covered and had flies - Beach - the resort does not have private access the beach and is an added fee which was misleading.. more money! - Pool towels - the pool can be used by anyone (even if not at the resort) they do not provide towels to paying guests and only sell them… more money again!

This is the very best hotel experience I have ever had on the South Black Sea cost of Bulgaria!

Room size, bath size, bed comfiness, bed size, everything was exceptional. The food was awesome, the pool was superb, the beach is awesome.

Literally nothing. I enjoyed my entire stay to the fullest.
