The cottage is in a good location minutes from Bakewell on foot.We were warmly welcomed by Lizzie and shown to our comfortable room.The room had everything you may need for a break,plenty of cupboard space,well stocked with coffee and tea,with biscuits too. The bed was lovely and comfortable and a good sleep guaranteed. Breakfast had a great choice of starters,with plenty of options for a full English with all the trimmings,you shouldn't need much for lunch!!!My wife and I will certainly return if we decide to venture to the area again.

On arrival we were greeted by the proprietor of the cottage, who was friendly and welcoming, there was nothing more she could’ve done to make us feel more welcome.

The location was ideal to Bakewell, the rooms where clean, well equipped, the bed was lovely and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious and the host's where lovely and very helpful with anything to do with are stay.

There was nothing we did not like, everything was just perfect.

Location was just outside the centre of Bakewell - absolutely perfect, not far from local amenities but out of the hustle and bustle. Our hosts, Francesca and Elizabeth, were very welcoming and friendly and helped us feel right at home. Breakfast was really tasty, well timed and generously portioned. Our room overlooked the garden, and even though it was right by the front door, quiet and private. The room was a good size with effective black-out curtains. We really appreciated our hosts sharing the terrace with a view of the valley below - absolutely stunning. We would definitely stay here again.
