Good value for money and the location was ideal as we needed a place for the night on our way back to London from Scotland.
There was no place to hang a towel nor a clothes rack. The carpet was shoddy and didn’t feel like it was clean.

The bar was nice and modern, friendly staff.
The room was small and you could hear the next rooms moving about and talking. The floor boards in the room and the hallway are very noisy and you could hear every little movement. Some guests don't have consideration for other guests.

The room was a good size and the staff are mega friendly. The food was good too and there was lots of safe parking. The village area was pretty and not too far from Darlington.
The owner supported Middlesbrough 😊 A bit noisy until the pub closed at 11.
