We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Home 47, Salerno. Our Hostess, Carmen, was exceptional. Carmen presented us with a beautiful breakfast, including baking a different cake each morning.
Security at this Accommodation was excellent, and the room was very spacious. Location in the old city of Salerno was perfect, close to all amenities including the Port where you could catch ferries easily.
We wish to thank Carmen for a comfortable and pleasant stay and for looking after us so well.

The location of the property is absolutely spot on, right in the centre of Salerno. Although the room is above a busy street once the doors are closed the apartment is very quiet and very spacious.
Breakfast is served every morning in Carmens apartment, delicious homemade cake is the star of the breakfast. lots to choose from and you won’t go hungry!
Nothing that we disliked at all.
The apartment missed homely touches, soft furnishings and pictures would bring the apartment to life.
I would still highly recommended Carmens apartment as this is our personal taste and did not distract from our lovely stay.

Carmen was absolutely exceptional. She goes out of her way to make sure you're taken care of. Her breakfast is amazing, and she's willing to help you with your stay.
Her location is prime, and you can walk anywhere from where you're at. We took a taxi from the train station, but it's a lovely walk if you don't have a lot of bags.
We liked everything, but my husband is a larger man, and shower was a bit small for him, but it's not a big deal.

very close to restaurants, shops, within an enclosed private building , extremely high ceilings , room felt very spacious . Home made breakfast. The host Carmen spoke English and was very attentive and helpful with all our requests .

Had an amazing time staying here! Carmen was a lovely host and made the best cake for breakfast. The room was stunning and cleaned everyday which was lovely. Would definitely stay again or recommend.

Everything was better than we expected. The room was very spacious and quaint, we loved the tiled floors and the kitchenette. Carmen (the host) was soooo sweet and accomodating, she made us feel very welcome and taken care of. We also enjoyed the stiff ortopedic matresse in the bed. I have chronic back problems and this bed was just what i needed for a good nights sleep. :) Everything we needed was in an arms reach, Shops, Restaurants, the beach just 5 minutes down the road....The breakfast , which Carmen makes herself, was very nice and thought out.
The room has a mezzanine floor with the bed and sadly the WiFi signal was a bit poor up there, but this was not a significant problem for us

Carmen was amazing throughout our trip, from providing gluten free options for breakfast to helping us with local boat information.

We loved Salerno, it’s not too touristy and the locals are so friendly. Home 47 was the perfect base to visit the city and the Amalfi coast.

Carmen is lovely...so kind and helpful. She bakes the cakes for the morning breakfast.
The windows are very old ( it's a structure from 1700's) so noise easily comes in as does the sunlight.
There is no elevator so be prepared for a struggle with your suitcase......

We loved the location as it was right in the middle of the old town and just a minute walk from the promenade where we had a lovely swim in the afternoon. The room was immaculate, very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was spectacular, with a great choice of home grown fruit, yoghurt , cereals , toast, cheese and cold cuts, eggs prepared fresh any way you like, a lovely homemade cake and more. Highly recommended! :)

Carmen was an amazing host, very friendly.
My room was really huge. It has tiles and was nicely decorated with a very high ceiling that has old paitings.
According to the Italian standard the breakfast was very good.
The AC did its best but could really cope with the enormous heat on that day.
There is also a restaurant on the ground floor and you can hear the guest in your room. If you can cope with this it's fine.

The apartment is in a good location and is well proportioned and comfortable. Carmen gave us a wonderful breakfast.

large room with a great atmosphere in historical Salerno close to bars and restaurants
the balcony of the room is situated along a busy road. Till late night you hear the traffic. also we found the bed to be quite hard.

Home 47 is beautiful and pleasant. Its large rooms, high ceilings, beautiful windows full of light and plants, create a calming atmosphere.

Location and the host, Carmen! nice rooms, clean and comfortable and pleasant, lots of light! Carmen was delightful, breakfast was lovely (especially Carmen's homemade fresh lemon cake!). Her restaurant recommendation was spot on!
Be aware that there is one flight up of stairs, but for most people this should be absolutely fine.

The apartment is just great! Spacious, comfortable with the style. Carmen (the owner) is just great! She is very nice and helpful. The breakfast was just fantastic especially cakes and cappuccinos. The location of the apartment is very convenient just in the old town center. There are just 3 min to the beach.
