Location

Property was dirty and smelt strongly of dogs furniture tired and smelly cooker filthy. Main bed smelt of dogs bedding not clean hairs in bed. Bitten by (I assume) dog fleas/ticks. Gave the impression not cleaned properly for weeks. Even had to unblock the bath which spewed out loads of detritus. Loads of hair in bath plug hole and sink plug hole no way was I cleaning that out. Do booking ever check up on these properties quite a few reports like mine.

Great Location, had a garden & private parking. Owner very quick to respond to our disappointment on the level of cleaning & helpful with information about the area & the property.

No mention in the information that the only bathroom is downstairs. It needed a thorough clean in the corners.

Comfortable stay

Kitchen had plenty of plates and bowls etc but was not very well equipped to cook for 3 people, let alone 4 - small pans in need of an update, no oil provided (just a nearly empty oil spray), no foil or greaseproof paper to protect food from the pans. A large baking tray and an extra chopping board would have been great.
