For us it was ideally suitable but for most people it would be considered remote. It is an old style farmhouse on a working farm so everything is to be considered with that perspective.
The shorter access road which the gps took us along is very bad but the longer route is quite good.

The ad did not indicate that this was on a farm. I have a small car and I was not prepared for a bad dirt road. The ad also did not indicate that it was so far from Hofmeyr.

All the extras make this a must to visit. Quiet and peaceful.

We are Bikers. So at the end of a long day in the saddle, we need a shower with good running water and a good bed with good linen. And that is exactly what we got. And to add to that, there was enough firewood to last for days! And that makes it a perfect stay.

Host were very kind. They let us swim in their pool which our boys loved. Very pretty setting.
Shower door didn’t close properly so the shower wet the bathroom.
