We absolutely loved this hotel. The combination of modern interiors to an old traditional building works surprisingly well. The restaurant is worth visiting whether or not you're staying at the hotel. First class food served in igloos overlooking the estuary

No one on reception when arrived. Also room wasn't ready and had to wait for room to be prepared. The room was above reception and had to listen to the receptionist talking on phone etc all the time. It was really echoey, so was really loud.

We loved the atmosphere and location. Everyone was so kind. The breakfast was amazing!

Beautiful setting. Lovely grounds. Clean and comfortable. Staff so nice and helpful. Breakfast was so delicious. Lots of choices.
WiFi not good in bedroom due to thick walls of old building, however good connection in the public areas.

Everything was perfect, the staff, facilities, dinner. We had a blast in the beginning of the camiño inglese. It allowed us to get mentally ready for the next steps. Strongly recommend Pazo da Merced

We were walking the camino de Santiago and this is a splurge. However, it was kind of off the route, but after a days walk, it is so worth it.
The food in their restaurant was the best so far! Staff were all so friendly and helpful.

gorgeous 17th century villa…pictures don’t do it justice… dinner was exceptional… one of the best meals I have had…

The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. I had a view facing the water and it was really lovely! I had a tapa and glass of wine at the restaurant which was also very delicious.
I did not find the breakfast to be anything so great. I suggest the hotel to ask guests what they prefer, instead of putting out a whole spread of food that could go to waste. They could simply have a few things which they know the guests would like (they could fill a small menu the night before).

everything - staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was spectacular with wonderful views over the estuary and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was wonderful ( best scrambled eggs ever!)
only slight negative was that despite temperatures in the mid 20s and at least 10 Camino Ingles walkers staying the advertised swimming pool was not available (late September) which I was looking forward to using after a long day walking.

very unusual building, enjoyed the pool and the garden. close to the Camino Ingles, lovely staff, good breakfast.
unfortunately we stayed on a night where there was no dinner service.

Friendly helpful staff especially at breakfast. Very clean and comfortable and a nice view from the very large suite.
The evening retauarant experience did not work for us. The food was ok but it would have been better served in the breakfast room rather than the transparent pods. The bedroom was a bit austere and could be improved with pictures, flowers, brighter colour scheme.

Beautiful property with an exceptional dinner. Although arriving there felt slightly off camino, the location right on the Ria made for a fantastic day of walking an alternative route directly on the beach the following day at low tide. One of my favorite sections of the camino. Loved walking down the steps to put my feet in the cool water.

Stayed here for up one night while hiking the Camino DeSantiago. So convenient! Spacious room! Beautiful surroundings! Quiet.
I had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and it was very good.
I guess I didn't read carefully enough but it wasn't air conditioned. The night I stayed, it was warm and very humid. Also, the driveway is long and downhill to the property. It was too much for me to climb that driveway and look for a place to eat after hiking all day on the Camino, but the hotel restaurant was very good.

The property was beautiful, old but with stylish, modern touches, pool was great as was the view of the bay. Cool restaurant outside in igloos with great food and views.

This accommodation is stunningly beautiful but also comfortable and relaxing. The building is a unique mix of old and new with an amazing view. Dinner was exquisite.

Beautiful setting on a river, nice grounds, outdoor seating, pool.
Dinner served in individual clear plastic igloos in the garden, a Covid solution.
Large room with lots of windows and black out shades and a comfortable seating area. Firm bed, good quality linens. Good breakfast included, cold buffet, toast, croissants, fresh o.j., good coffee. Nice young staff. Lovely old stone building exterior, modern interior in bedrooms. Small hotel with eight bedrooms. We will recommend Pazo to our friends.
We enjoyed it just as it is.
