It was close to Glencoe
Sad, poorly maintained house. Bathroom was dingy and smelled of mold. We couldn't flush the toilet most of our stay. The owner knew it was tricky, but didn't fix it. We prepaid for two nights, but only stayed one night due to all the issues. We left the owner the 125 pounds for the second night, and he did not offer to refund it. The dining room ceiling had leaked, and was coming down. It looked like this had been happening for a while. We stayed in six other B&B's in England and Scotland on our trip, all would rate between fine, traditional, and romantic. The Park View needs a complete refurbishment.

Breakfast was good. Room was comfortable but not large. Not a place for anyone who cannot manage stairs.
Host had good recommendations for dinner.
Outside was a bit rundown ie could have done with a bit of painting.

We had a bathroom in our room
Place is falling apart. Think the host has giving up on this B&B. Needs full refurb had more a council estate feel about it than B&B. Even though breakfast was a extra at £20 cash only for a chucked together lidl finest. Everything here shuts at 8pm for food even the chippy where the host suggested we go after 8. The host does everything himself. Room was dirty n dated. Had to unplug tv to use the kettle. Ad rather pitched at tent Shocking

The Owner was very kind and always ready to Help. We could choose between a Continental and Scottish Breakfast - we choose the latter and enjoyed it a lot! The Room was very cozy and clean.
Ballachulish is very small but has a few very good walking Routes with beautiful Views. We definetely recommend it!
Its not about our stay, but the Public Transport is awful, since most of the Busses come only twice a day and the Taxis are booked out.

Great location and very friendly welcome. Knowledgeable host. Clean bedroom, very comfortable bed, tasty breakfast.
Some maintenance issues- kettle, wall socket and door hook not working. Shared bathroom inconvenient. More expensive than expected (£100 including breakfast).

Very friendly host, the property is well located and room was spacious
It felt more like having a private room in their house than being welcomed in an b&b / inn. We could hear a lot of the family’s activities which can be fine, but not as calm as we’d hoped for.

Host was friendly and bed was comfy. Other than that, sadly I felt it most definitely was not worth the money I paid.
Building was absolutely freezing and bathroom not the cleanest.

Perfect for an overnight stay while visiting family in early September
Proprietor very friendly and helpful. Directed us to a wonderful swimming spot in the sea loch which we wouldn't have found otherwise
Comfy bed and very clean

Room was warm, host was accommodating
Bathroom facility- shower didn’t work. Door handle to room was very difficult to open so we slept with door open for bathroom access in the night.

Clean, basic accommodation and reasonably priced.
The Inn was obviously a bed and breakfast. But because we made our reservation through Booking. Com breakfast was not included in our stay. What felt odd is that this was never said by implied. We were shown directly to our room when we arrived. There was a breakfast room off the foyer but it was never mentioned. In the morning the smell of breakfast cooking and the sounds of guests dining were obvious. We felt very out of place. We did find a lovely breakfast at the town visitor center's cafe just a short walk around the block.

Very friendly and helpful owner.
The place is just a bit dated and a bit down at heel. Could do with a really good clean. Woman’s touch. Maintenance of lots of bits and pieces is required. However it is at a budget price and this is reflected. The owner is doing his best, nice bloke. Probably just wasn’t the best choice for us.

the location is nice. the room is nice and cozy. the owner is friendly.
6 rooms sharing the 2nd floor bathroom. bec the 3rd floor shower has a leak. could have let us use the private bathroom on the 2nd floor to avoid line up on the bathroom for guests. no decent hanger or hooks for clothes, jackets in our room. if you have big luggages make sure someone can carry it up the stairs.

Overall a great stay, I really felt at home. The room was clean and really comfortable. Had everything I could possibly need and more. The owner was so accomodating, friendly, approachable and helpful. He is happy to give a lot of great tips and advice and really made the stay.

Johnny super friendly, welcoming. close to beautiful countryside. We stayed here one night after a drive from Edinburgh and a hike. I would have stayed longer for another hike, the nature is spectacular.
We had three rooms for three adults (siblings). beds were uncomfortable. I slept on a twin that I could feel all the springs. For one night, no big deal. But still. Shared shower room resulted in a sopping wet floor from another guest showering which was annoying. I rented this because it was close to ‘city center’. but there is no town to speak of and there was no food. finally bookings.com made it seem like there was breakfast. There was actually excellent coffee but no breakfast.

Owner was very friendly. Breakfast wasnt included in price from booking.com but when asked he made all three of us a lovely breakfast for a reasonable fee despite the fact he seemed to be quite busy. Just very accomodating overall and would definately stay again if in the area.
Also the family dog was adorable which was a bonus 🤣.

Perfect location for a family of hillwalkers with a dog. The property may need a paint job and some repairs, but who cares, really. Over time, one forgets about the minor flaws and remembers the great breakfasts and Johnny's hospitality!
