Food at the Sail was more palatable than at the Kliff. Breakfast's always the same spread - buffet style.
Room's spacious and bed's quite comfortable. Great view depending on the room booked.
Nearest 24 mini-mart is about 10 minutes walk away, depending on your pace of walking. Good to stock up your snacks from this mart.
Gym's at the rooftop and is relatively well equipped.
Great access to the beach, But bring your booties as it's reef rock bottom and not sandy bottom.
There are two pools and the infinity pool where the pool bar and towel stand are, naturally is the more popular one.
You can order food in (from other joints like Molly's Bar and Grill or Omah Cobek (or others) if you get bored from eating the same old food from the resort's restaurants.
The sunloungers could have been better maintained as they were relatively dirty (lizard and bird poo). Didn't feel good lying on it even though the towel was placed on it.
There were only four pool umbrellas and these are insufficient given the total number of sun loungers at both pools.
Towels in the room had a cigarette smell on them. 😒
Can't stand inconsiderate guests who dropped/throwed the heavy thumbs bell instead of putting them slowly on the gym mats - it made loud thumping noises in the night (my room was right below the gym).

Stunning location that offers breathtaking sunsets, the stuff is so friendly, welcoming and attentive, great ocean view from the room, large bathroom and large shower, nice spa, stunning view from the gym
- The quality of food (breakfast, as well as at the Kliff and the beach restaurant) can be better,
- add a few yoga mats to the gym, the floor surface is very rough for stretching and other body-weight exercises
- better lightning in the bathroom, it gets very dark after the sun goes down
- softer and smaller pillows, my husband struggle quite a bit with sleeping because the pillows were massive and not very soft
- add a water dispenser at the reception to use less plastic bottles

The resort was spectacular from the moment you walk into the lobby - open air, loads of water features and nestled in nature. Both infinity pools had unhindered views of the sea and look out onto Mt Agung on Bali on cloudless days. Pool bar and staff was exceptional and so were the drinks and service. The room was massive, with lots of glass that gives us unblocked views of the sea and sunset. Food was amazing - especially at the Kliff restaurant. Extra special mention to the duck ragu pasta - that was exceptional. Haven't had a duck pasta like that even in top Italian restaurants. All the staff were so helpful and friendly and it was a pleasure speaking and getting to know them for the 5 days we were there. Breakfast was a mix of continental and local and rotated every 3 days - pretty good spread and options. The gym was well stocked and had everything anyone could need for a full workout while on holiday. The staff were always ready to help and the resort allows guests to book out towels and coolerboxes if they require them for any day trips at no additional charge which was great. I couldn't recommend this resort any more than I have already - an exceptional place for couples and families - with plenty of space.
Its not something I didn't like but possibly an addition for the future - maybe a games room with a pool table, or table tennis or some board or card games would be a good addition to increase the number of activities that could be done on the resort

Der Strand ist am Wasser sehr steinig. Kein Lifeguard. Zum Baden eher ungeeignet. Außerhalb der Unterkunft hat der Ort nichts zu bieten.

Super schöne Anlage und Hotel. Direkt am Strand. Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und die Speisen (Pancakes, French Toasts etc) werden jeden Tag frisch zubereitet. Am Abend ist wunderschön der Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten.
Bett ein wenig unbequem. Playlist am Pool jeden Tag gleich.

We stayed in a relaxing and spacious room overlooking the ocean. The staff were incredibly hospitable and it always felt like coming home! We’d especially like to commend Edi, who was so friendly and helpful!
Breakfast was amazing and I loved that there was a crepe/waffle and bakso station!

We organize the romantic dinner for two on the beach with a private waiter again, I couldn’t felt this…

unfortunately, we got locked out of our room twice even the staff couldn’t get in… these things happen
And if you’re going there to watch TV don’t bother extremely bad reception …

This is a beautiful property. it was quiet, everyone was friendly. 10 minutes from central Sengiggi. arranged a trip to Gilli islands and was picked from the beach in front of hotel

The facilities were amazing and the beachfront as well as the beach itself is really awesome as well.
All in all it’s not cheap for sure compared to other facilities in the area but the quality is def another level. The restaurants are also really good within the facilites but relatively pricey including the 21% tax and service fee that always comes on top. Around the hotel there is not that much to do anymore ans also not that many nice restaurants to eat in since it seems that this area is past its prime time.

The resort is absolutely stunning and has a great view. The staff made us feel very welcome and was very supportive when arranging a snorkeling trip to the Gilis (highly recommend!) and a Scooter rental.

Everything was expected and two thumbs up for the great service. We were there on a low period. That's a pleasant surprise and bonus.
We booked a villa that had private pool room 5002. I must say that this paddle pool looks really nice but apart from misleading I feel its non functional. It's not really private any one could see across to your room. And once I got in I could not get up. There was no steps or stairs . This is not built with safety in mind.

The two bedroom villa was an excellent choice!
The private pool was good and very well maintained. Outdoor showers for the win! Furniture is good and the beds were super comfy.
Breakfast at the beach is an ever amazing thing. Lucky Katamaran for being located at a beach that is not prone to too much waste being washed ashore, the water is pristine and a full out pleasure to dive into.
Overall food is great and plentiful in choice, service to the room is super prompt!
The staff is beyond amazing 👏!
Some bits and pieces of the property need more maintenance, the flooring around our pool had seen its best days and the electric wiring in our house was a bit adventurous- everything worked (ish).
The occasional live music is a nuisance and if it's karaoke it's pure pain.
The trips offered by the hotel need more quality checking and are somewhat overpriced.

Beautiful spacious and stylish hotel complex made from concrete and wood. Great pooling areas and tidy beach. Good food and friendly staff. The second restaurant "the kliff" was really amazing - great location and tasty dishes. I can also recommend the spa - fantastic massages in a beautiful surrounding.
Rooms were huge but with a lot of lost space - e.g. we had a large terrace with no furniture at all.

I would like to give a strong recommendation for Katamaran Resort. the amazing view will make you forgot all worries and be immersed in the sound of the sea wave.
Variety of food was great. and especially wanna say thanks to the staffs in Katamaran for giving me a short and nice birthday celebration which is big surprise for me.
It would be incredible experience when you are swimming in the infinity pool alone with the sunset view.
Definitely will pick Katamaran again if I go Lombok next time.

This place seems to have it all. The property is just exquisite with great views, large rooms, a nice location, a relaxing environment with a gorgeous infinity pool and a staff that is always smiling and certainly knows how to deliver quality service. The driver for the transfer from the airport and the reception, the service at both of the restaurants and the pool bar service, housekeeping…the stay was just perfect. And although everything was exceptional, two things in particular impressed me. This was one of the cleanest properties I’ve stayed at in a long time. And secondly, there was never a staff member I walked past that didn’t say good morning, good afternoon, how was your day, welcome back from your day out, have a good night…I have never experienced this before in a hotel. This doesn’t just happen. You can tell it’s a culture at this hotel, the employees seem to be happy to be there and it was an incredible stay at this hotel. Kudos to the management team.
The only thing I can think that could be better on the property is just a little more lighting going upstairs to the second floor rooms. Once it got dark, it was difficult to see the stairs.

the family suite was spacious with a direct ocean view from one of the rooms and 2 balconies.
lovely area at Sails Restaurant to dine or have breakfast under the trees overlooking the beach
sunset was spectacular with views of the Balinese mountains.
food was more expensive then bali but was tasty and good quality.
Staff always helpful and friendly.
The beach directly out the front did not appear safe to swim in unfortunately (surf break over coral) but nice to look at
Internet/wifi was consistently very patchy
a bit picky but many of the Pool towels were very ragged with holes in them which didn’t seem like a 5 star hotel.
needed a taxi to get to any kind of supermarket. a lot of the town was closed and very quiet presumably the impact of covid 19 on travel.
our room was in a 4 storey U shaped building which had good views but this was not on the hotel website and wasn’t that attractive.

The staff at the hotel are what makes this place special. Everyone is friendly and willing to help. And there are so many people behind the scenes looking after the place to keep it clean.
They even smoke out the mosquitos during rainy season!
There’s little to do at this hotel if you aren’t planning on any outside day trips.
I wouldn’t call this a resort, there’s no activities run, no library, no games area, nothing that’s free apart from the gym and pool. Would have expected more from a 5 star resort.

Overall had a wonderful stay. Staff was super helpful, allowed us to change rooms very last minute! And helped us to arrange a boat couple days after we checked out. Thank you 🙏🏼 Hotel facilities are modern, all clean, and smooth.
LOVED KLIFF restaurant! Definitely it was our happy place during rainy evenings and Christmas time.
We had a falling out with one of the staff managers, who was just rude, and made it really difficult to change restaurants on Christmas Day, after we were unhappy with the quality of Christmas bbq (cold, undercooked food, full of smoke in the restaurant). Thankfully we managed to change to the KLIFF, and were supper happy!
Despite that one situation, our stay was 10/10!
