The view from the front door was an impressive view of Pico mountain. The location was great. It was close to swimming and the town of Madalena, and quiet. Lots of good restaurants and easy to get around. Shopping for groceries was convenient, as was using this location as a starting point to visit Pico.
We only used the kitchen for breakfast and found mostly everything we needed and appreciated the pot we could use to brew tea, but a teapot would have been helpful, as would have a few more kitchen towels as only two were available.

The spacious appartment, kitchen, outside space and surrounding UNESCO vinyard area. Also Patricia was so nice and gave us the names of two taxi drivers to take us to places on the island as we did not have a car.

We wanted to stay close to Pico vineyards and this property was really very close just several steps from them. Moinho do frade was just 5 min walk from property. Appartment was comfortable with all you need for stay and spacious. Appt and stone houses in the property looked new or renovated and nicely fitted to surrounding. We had appartment and terrace with view to Pico and we enjoyed to have breakfast and dinner there. It is quiet area, we liked that. Communication with owners was perfect and they gave useful advices how to enjoy our stay.
Everything was as we wanted.

The apartments are new, very clean and well kept. WiFi was working very well, kitchen equipment was sufficient for our cooking. Hot water was really hot which we appreciated. We arrived at the beginning of the season (April 2022) and we met a quite cold and wet weather (2 days of continuous rain), so some of us felt cold inside the accommodation. The AC was not heating but the owners provided us with two electric heaters which was nice and there were warm woolen blankets. Generally good value for money.

This mini condo has a few houses quite separated which allows to have the necessary privacy from the others.
Each division is very good and comfortable and the kitchen/living room is good for having meals and stay with children.
Very well located do to is near from Madalena ferry or aeroport and in a middle of Pico’s wine yard area.
To visit is also near of Pico’s mountain access, caves and a lots of natural swimming pools and you finish the day watching the sunset over Faial Island if you stare near by the house.
Great hospitality and sympathy from the hostess which is always available for any help.
Besides there’s one air conditioner in bedroom in hot days maybe living room needs one more.
But noting else to mention for the relation quality/price
