It’s a place to lay your head at a reasonable price

It was ok bang for your buck, away from the main strip but has some really good foods a bars close that aren’t filled with load music.

The fact things can be real noisy early in the morning with the staff cleaning. Also the shower in my room was earthed, with I found out when I went to move the shower head a gave myself a serious jolt, lucky enough it was only 110v’s. Didn’t fancy the sauna or the hot tube.

Great value for money, lovely owner - he and his wife were really helpful. Great stay

Clean and very good value for money. Lovely outdoor areas including 2 beautiful pools (1 in a really nice garden overlooking the lake) and a sauna for you to use!

Quite noisy whilst we were staying there - the windows and doors are not very sound proof at all

Now Casa Don Pedro is one of my favourite and cheap hotels.

The hotel has a new pool in a nice area in front of the lake (behind the parking) right there we enjoyed the rising sun.

The jacuzzi schedule was full when we arrived

Our stay was miserable, the pool saved the experience

The pool was nice

Our check in experience was miserable. The front desk woman yelled at us and tried to charge us nearly double what we originally booked it for. The shower was disgusting and sprayed water all over the bathroom. Rooms are tiny overall. A festival was also happening down the street that was loud all night long with fireworks until 3am every night.

Good

Facilities are great. Pool and steam sauna was a plus. Location is a bit quiet but that worked for us. When the guy showed us to our room, it was quite hot and he immediately offered another.

Staff seem to not always be around, but that's fine cause we don't need much after checking in. 1 night a group of drunk guys came back late and sat outside playing music/shouting etc. That's not the hotel's fault but there was nobody working to put a stop to it

Good

The staff was very friendly and took care of everything very quickly, but speak only Spanish, which made the communication very hard. Nice pool.

Location far from the center. The good thing is that there are lots of Tuk Tuks that helps to get to and from the hotel. The rooms are very basic (not to say Spertan) - only bed and basic shower. The rooms very stuffy - No Air Conditioner or any kind of ventilation. There is no noise insulation in the rooms, so you hear everything that happenes outside.

everything: the spa area, the swimming pools, how nice Maria Elvia and the rest of the staff was with us, the location…

Location is okay, what is great is that through the parking lot there is access to the lake

Check-in experience was odd. Besides, they take only cash.

Exceptional

This place is just perfect, close enough to the center but far enough to have quiet at night. The staff is just amazing, place is very clean, there is a pool in the hotel and another facing the lake just accross where you can sunbathe alone, its perfect. If i come back, this is the place to staff for sure.

Not worth the money

clean bedding. Good location

the shower was super cold and bathroom was out dated. the place is run down and my room was dark and dingy.it’s such a shame when accommodation charge crazy amount because of limited accommodation options but no despite to update the facilities. Thin wall and you can hear people from 3 doors down. Only had one toilet roll the 3 nights I was there and had to go and ask for more.

Quiet and calm

Two double beds were great and the property was quiet. The staff were lovely.

The shower smelled and was held together with tape and electric wires so we didn’t shower to avoid getting electrocuted. The rooms were super basic and could use mirrors or something.

Quite place away from main street

It's a quite place which is rare in most tourist places to be. It's clean property where every thing pretty nice but I wouldn't think the pool/jacuzzi is super clean for lying in. The place is old and not very well maintained, in terms of say fixtures, door handles etc. But I would still stay here,the owners are nice and helpful. Though challenging with English , which is everywhere for budget places. I don't mind the location, it 5-10 min walk from places and doesn't feel unsafe at all.

No drinking water in room No shampoo etc. Old place, fixtures etc.

Last minute booking, great find!

Great location, super friendly owner, private parking space which was included in the price. The owner let us use it for the day of check out as well so we could enjoy some more time in the town. Super close to all the bars and restaurant.

it’s close to a lot of cafes and restaurants.

not well maintained. The jacuzzi was full of bugs. there was a full kitchen but the guests were not allowed to use it (though I did see some people using it?). My room was very loud as the water pump was just over the wall. the floor was not clean.
