The Afrika Pearl guest house is a beautifully renovated old house with a pool and shady garden centrally located but in a quiet suburb of Paarl. The rooms are spacious with a large seating area and small kitchenette. Everything was spotles. The verandah in front of the rooms have comfy sofas and is a lovely place to have morning coffee. Lots of small extras were provided-Lindt chocolates, milk , rusks , biscuits, water, juice, tea and coffee. Christelle and Johan were excellent hosts and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We highly recommend this guest house when visiting Paarl.

Everything! It was well positioned, it was super comfortable, clean and neat, felt like a well loved home and lacked absolutely nothing. Christelle and Johan treated us like family despite never having met - special indeed.

I loved everything about Afrika Pearl, the serenity of the property the privacy of the room the view of the garden the little treats left in the room and fridge is so so thoughtful. I am definitely returning 👌 The air con and back up power the dstv is awesome, tea and coffee station with cutlery the mini bar fridge and the room and bathroom is to die for. Don't even blink or think twice to book this venue it exceeds expectations. Thank you so much Christelle for making our anniversary getaway so special and for our gift that was so sweet of you ❤️

-Beautiful little bungalow with kitchenette and its own private garden -Exquisitely and stylishly furnished - Immaculately clean 11/10! - Lots of lovingly arranged little treats like milk and a Kitkat waiting in the fridge, a little bunch of freshly picked flowers in a pretty vase… - Brilliant verandah which became a snug extra room at night by winding down see-through blinds and lighting the outdoor fireplace - Positioned in a quite shady area of the old town and in walking distance to most amenities of the high street

Afrika Pearl was possibly the best accommodation we have ever stayed in! The host - Christelle, went over and above to make sure that our stay was absolutely perfect. Everything you need is within walking distance. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms and garden were immaculately kept. The rooms even have all the necessities for snacks and beverages! Safe and secure with our own alarm and remote to the main gate. Our first time in Paarl was incredible. A definite must visit.

If I had to fault anything (which is very difficult to do!) - I felt terrible not to eat all of the delicious food that was prepared for us. We are not big eaters but opted for a breakfast addition for convenience. Next time I will definitely ask for less food and that to add our own condiments to our preferred taste. Otherwise the presentation, choice and dining experience was amazing. Christelle even pops her heard around while cooking and cleaning to make sure we are happy - or for a quick chat. She also gave us loads of ideas on what to do and where to go in Paarl.
