Villa Location Outside space

Location accessibility not great. Villa interior dated Drains in main bathroom smelt.

The property is absolutely stunning with breathtaking views out to sea from literally everywhere. The infinity pool, outdoor furniture and amenities are absolutely amazing! You could not want more from this villa. It’s located a few minutes walk from rock pools with access to the pool, loungers and umbrellas which is absolutely stunning at sun set! A short drive from the beach with crystal blue waters and a restaurant and bar which closes around the 17th September for end of season. Argostoli the capital is a town really on the seafront with a beautiful square with amazing restaurants! The Italian and Chinese were really good. You can take a walk along the marina or through the town for anything you need. It’s a great base on the island only 20 minutes from the villa, 57 minutes from myrtos beach which is an absolutely must to visit. Fiskardo, assos and Sami are all within about an hours drive. Olive Garden restaurant is a short 10 minute drive and also a must if you’re looking for incredible food! We ate here on 3 nights, it was that good. Closest 'supermarket' is Lidle which is on the main road to argostoli, this will have literally everything you need. Do not go to the local market recommended if you are looking to do a weeks shop, it is over priced and is more of a village shop. Dianne from freelance Villas was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Would certainly return.

The only thing I would change is the location, a car is an absolute necessity, as it’s located right on the side of the mountain. The drive is steep and windy and roads are not great. Everything is a 20 minute drive away, all shops, restaurants, bars etc. apart from an amazing restaurant called the Olive Garden where we went for 3 nights. It’s so beautiful with stunning outdoor areas to eat, they also serve the best steak that we have ever eaten and super tasty desserts!! It’s a must!!! All other restaurants are in Argostoli. If you are travelling in the summer months, there is the Waterway which is a beach restaurant 10 minutes away too. It was closed when we went but looked like it would be lovely. If you’re happy driving then book this villa, you will not regret it as it’s truly stunning!! With easy access to most parts of the island by car.

I really enjoyed the view, the scenery, the pool, the three bathrooms provided (really convenient). The area around the pool is perfect, but unfortunately full of bees in the morning it is impossible to eat outside. The rocky sea below the house is great.

I expected the place to be cleaner. The cleaning service visited only once in 9 days and did not meet their second appointment. Some of the bath towels provided were torn and their quality was poor. No garbage bags were provided. I also expected to find basics in the kitchen (paper napkins, salt, sugar, coffee, olive oil). Also a lot of dust on the sofa. TV only 2-3 channels, the rest were encrypted! Poor wifi cover. A bit strange that TV and A/C controls were covered with membrane not allowing you to use all functions.

The view was spectacular and the pool was just as great. We enjoyed the outdoor patio the majority of our stay.

Access is quite difficult but views worthwhile!
