Perfect stay

Loads of room. Love the old character of the property. So relaxing. Close to the shops and pubs. Colin is a great host. Will be definitely coming back.

Wouldn’t stay there again

Spacious

Shower over bath - shower curtain dirty Breakfast was included ? Had to cook it yourself , for $250 I expected it to be a cooked breakfast Light pulls were dirty

Historic accommodation in a fascinating area.

Friendly and helpful host. Beautiful old property which has been nicely decorated and very comfortable. In fact the owners have gone to a lot of trouble to make your stay memorable! Well located, quiet but central and close to many eating options. We’ll stay again.

The location is excellent and the food provided for the self-cooked breakfast was just right the rooms were worm with lovely gas fireplace. Everything verry homely and comfortable

excellent, v friendly hosts, would highly recommend a stay here for a old world experience !

the location was superb, v convenient. The host were very accommodating and helpful. Colin is a gem, i had a v heavy suitcase and he helped me take it to my room. V pleasant, beautiful old world accommodation that I love. Being dog friendly, i will definitely be back with my family including my four legged member. Highly recommended !

Lovely old home that met all our requirements and we could not have asked for more

I hope I get the opportunity to stay again (for longer this time).

It is a lovely spacious and relaxing place with magnificent gardens. Colin was a very inviting host and the fridge was stocked with an abundance of breakfast supplies. Location can't be better - it was a one block walk to the centre of town.

Unfortunately I was in late and left early so I only got to enjoy it for a short time. If you like glossy new digs then this isn't for you, but if you love historic buildings that are clean, spacious, very comfortable and serene then you won't be disappointed

Beautiful, private, character filled stay

Such a great location! 3 minute walk to town. Loved the history and character of the accomodation. Super beautiful grounds, very expansive and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast provided and very kind and helpful owners on hand to assist if needed. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Exceptional

Best pet friendly apartment ever had and so close to town walking distance to everything. The convent is old and grand and turns 100 yrs old in January. A testament to the workmanship of an era gone by as she stands tall overlooking the town..the restoration and feel takes you back too...loved it and will definitely be back.. and the sunset was beautiful..

Very interesting and enjoyable.

The building was interesting and had a great history. It is quite old but comfortable and the apartment was spacious. The owner is a very nice man and very helpful.

Looks warm and tired, needs a make over and furniture upgrade, will not be returning.

Very worn, needs an upgrade. Furniture also needed upgrading. Bed dooner was meant to be white but looked like it needed a wash. Would suggest a bed linen upgrade.

disappointing

It is tired,old and unsafe ...stairs,railings,fixtures,bathrooms,verandahs all in disrepair the air conditioner had to be turned off as too noisey to sleep with.Our bedroom and bathroom doors did not even close.
