The room and resort was beautiful but the bed was probably the worst one I have ever slept in. Super squishy and lumpy with bad bedding. Shower was great, views amazing, kitchen so-so, but no dish towels or hot pads. 2 towels only for each bathroom. We would definitely go back IF the bed was replaced. The pools were great.

This is really a great little getaway down in Galveston. We only left the property 1 time. Every thing you need and want is at Diamond Beach Resort. Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved this stay. The staff at Diamond Beach is attentive. The facility is clean and the amenities that Diamond Beach offers including but not limited to the easy access to the beach was PERFECT. For never having visited Galveston before we couldn’t have selected a better location to have such an enjoyable vacation. We didn’t deal with the high crowds or crowded beaches as we drove and noticed near the seawall. The low key area provides sort of a private space and it was fabulous. My family already wants to go back.
And, we will be.

This rental was in the perfect location. Second level looking out to the pool and could still see the gulf. The two twin beds were extremely uncomfortable and the patio furniture is very sparse and weathered. Overall, would stay again.

The location is just wonderful. The property is beautiful but the furnishings in the unit and on the balcony were less than expected and not near as nice as the pictures show. The twin beds need new mattresses and the living room and balcony furniture is definitely needs to be replaced.

We enjoyed our stay. Read people say bed was uncomfortable, found bed good, has a pillow top just needs to be puffed up daily, no big deal, we had no problem getting a hold of anyone. Condo had everything we needed, loved the large balcony,
We loved the lazy river, except kids need to be kept out of dirt they would run around and bring in water. pool was nice, never too crowded, didn't try indoor pool. All condo staff were very friendly and helpful. Good location. Would stay again

The only complaints we had with this condo was the outdoor balcony area was filthy and the furniture is very old. They should have more bath towels for the guest. The condo facilities and amenities "missing in Action" this property has a lot of potential but I guess due to a lack of workers it seems neglected. The lazy river was awesome the pool was clean.

Great location, awesome pool and lazy river! The Swim up bar is run by an independent vendor, therefore the bar has no set days or hours of operation. After booking you will receive a list of items to bring which often are included with other properties… cleaning supplies, trash bags, soap, shampoo. Easy check in, clean property.

Average condo but no bad
The property was ok but the room had several small repairs needed, light bulbs out, remote batteries dead, tube drains slow, mattresses broken down, Mildew in master shower, bulky furniture made master closet inaccessible. View was great and pool was good. Beach access is not great, pool bar closed and water slide closed. Parking is limited and game room area several games did not work. Movie theater runs off Roku it is not an actual movie theater just a large home TV and remote didn’t work. Overall, I hoped for more for the price but was due-able for the stay we needed.

Our stay
We stayed in rm 215. The shower stall could use some deep cleaning and the vents haven’t been cleaned in awhile.
Now the rest…. Awesome. I liked the secured garage parking, you need a pass and a gate open to get it. The security was top notch. The awesome desk people, that’s not what they are called, were over the top with help. The beach was just minutes a walk away.
You all need to go!

This is actually the second time we stayed in this condo. We stayed there last year in October. We love all the activities they have on site. Perfect for our 4 year old granddaughter. They have so many areas to keep a child happy! She especially loved the indoor pool! The lazy river was also a fun activity. She also loved the play room and the game room! We grilled out one evening and we were very happy to see that the grill was very clean and ready for use. This is just a perfect getaway.

Very bad experience. Owner was very strict and dumb. Did not follow the renting criteria but by her own rule. We had power outage and left and no one informed when the power is back again. We lost trust in this place.

Diamond Beach Fun Getaway.

The property is gorgeous and you cannot beat the amenities on site. The game room, movie room, and pools were incredible.
However, why have a water slide if it is never utilized? Would it kill them to turn up the heat in the pools? The ocean water was warmer than the pools!
The beds/couches in our condo were incredibly uncomfortable, but otherwise the unit itself was great.
Parking was convenient and super easy!

So Much Potential.....but
The property is gorgeous and you cannot beat the amenities on site. The game room, movie room, and pools were incredible.

There is a tremendous amount hidden in the fine print. We booked and attempted to cancel after seeing some of the fine print within 2 hours of booking and the property manager was obnoxious in her response and ability to accept a fee. Instead she refused to give back our payment. Then she stopped responding to questions prior to the trip about how to check into the facility. Additionally the amenities in the unit were sub par. The sheets were thread bare, there was no hand soap in the bathrooms or kitchen (we are in a pandemic!) and the towels were minimal. Beware of who you are working with. It is not an individual homeowner.

Very nice private getaway, lazy river was great and sunset and sunrise views from balcony were amazing. Owner was quick to communicate and cater to any and all needs. An amazing property and great host!!!A+++

Great Galveston Getaway
My husband and I were pleased with the accommodations of the property and our 2 BR condo #215. Our daughter and family had a 3 BR unit one floor above. We loved the lazy river, game room for kids, and our spacious balcony.
Our only disappointment was that the pool and slide were not open during our stay. The lazy river was not clean or working on the last morning of our stay. I had communicated with the property manager before our trip and was assured the pool area would be open.
We would love to return to this property in the future when we can make use of all amenities.

The owner called and said the toilet roll holders were reported broken. He wanted to come a fix . This was ok, but it was very minor and it seems like if we were ok with it it could have waited. We told him we where about to leave so he said he come in about 30 minutes. Felt a less like home since we felt we should tidy up our personal items. 2nd concern is the sprinkler over the shower near laundry has no encasing so there is a hole in the ceiling. The only one in condo and above the shower. I only noticed it as we got closer to leaving but it creeped me out. The facility was otherwise nice and process was easy. But the hole in the ceiling was something I wasn’t sure how to report.

My daughter & I shared the king bed- I thought it was fine she thought it hard. Would have been nice to have had a lightweight blanket for the bed, comforter was too much and the sheet not enough ( another review

More towels and washcloths would have been nice. There were 4 of us and 4 wash cloths , 5 bath towels and 3 or 4 hand towels so we washed a lot....I don't mind reusing a towel but DO LIKE fresh washcloths daily. It was nice having washer and dryer in the unit.
Cushions on the balcony furniture were a little flat but okay to sit on for short periods. Lots of room o. The balcony.
We felt very safe, noise was minimal, most guests attire was appropriate and people were couteous.

We stayed five years ago and it was a wonderful experience. This time the property and especially the inside of our condo was beat up. Card keys and fobs did not work quite a few times.

The resort is great our condo was in terrible need of updating! All the furniture needed to be replaced and several TVs did too. The toilet would not flush, there was no privacy because there were no curtains or blinds and we were on the second floor facing the pool area. We reported these issues we hope they were addressed and changed. Definitely not worth the rent!!!!
