Wind Dancer is a romantic two bedroom, two bath condo with wonderful ocean views of the main island of Puerto Rico, Culebra, St. Thomas, and St. John. Situated on the end of a cul-de-sac at the top of the hill in a very quiet area. The bedrooms have king-size beds and are air conditioned, each with their own bath. One has a garden shower, and the other has a shower and tub. Enjoy the fully equipped kitchen or barbecue your favorite steak or fish on the Weber gas grill. The living space is open and spacious with a comfortable dining area and seating area. There is Fire Stix TV with a wide range of program and movie channels, including a, iPod player. The decor is mostly original folk art pieces from Puerto Rico. Enjoy a Piña Colada and dinner on the terrace while relaxing with the soothing Caribbean breeze. At night gaze at the stars while relaxing from a long day at the beach, enjoy the gentle breezes and sound of the sea. There is also a sundeck to catch some rays and listen to the ocean, without having to go anywhere. The amazing island of Vieques is located eight miles east of the main island of Puerto Rico in the Caribbean. The island packs a lot of beauty into a little space. Only twenty miles from east to west and five miles from north to south, Vieques offers spectacular beaches at every turn, each one providing a unique experience. Starting with a canvas of sand - white to tan to gold to black. Add your colors - Caribbean blue, emerald green, sea grape jade, sea foam white. Sit, sip, sun and savor or swim, snorkel, surf or stroll. Make your choice and envision yourself doing whatever you want in nature's paradise. We had a great week in this beautiful apartment. The kitchen was so well equipped, we choose to cook at home several nights. It was quiet and peaceful, with a twenty four hour a day view of the ocean. We also had a private place to park our car rental, right outside of our apartment. A little slice of heaven.

We loved this property and would definitely stay here again. The outdoor shower was amazing, as was sitting on the patio and hearing the waves and watching the palm trees dance in the breeze. The convenience of being able to rent the owner's car and be picked up and dropped off from the ferry was wonderful. Highly recommended staying here. Enjoyed the Bio Bay Tour and the beautiful beaches. We also enjoyed Fish and Chips at Lazy Jack's, pizza/pasta from Mama Mia's, and the great food at Coqui Fire Cafe. The family Market had everything we were looking for food wise. The jacuzzi tub doesnt work at the condo, but that was not needed since we spent our days on the beach and used the outdoor shower. We got a cab from the airport at San Juan for a locked in price and he took us to the ferry and then picked us up from the ferry and took us back to the airport. That was another thing that made our trip easy. Go to Vieques. Stay here. You won't regret it.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this VRBO property and I cannot recommend it enough. From the outset, communication was seamless, prompt, and incredibly accommodating. The property itself was as delightful in reality as it was in the pictures – clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we could possibly need.
Furthermore, the inclusion of the car was an unexpected bonus and it served us excellently throughout our stay. Driving around was a breeze and it added a touch of convenience to our trip.
In conclusion, if you're considering a stay here, I wholeheartedly endorse it. The combination of a beautiful property, impeccable communication, and the fantastic car makes for a truly unparalleled experience. I would without a doubt choose to stay here again on my next visit.

Amazing place to stay in Vieques

This is a peaceful relaxing location. Incredible ocean views and plenty of room, well equipped home. Most everything you need except food you will find there. Property managers are extremely helpful, responsive and friendly. No disturbing noises, traffic or such. End of a dead end street sitting up higher. Air conditioned with ceiling fans to keep it comfortable. This is a neccessary feature in summer. The outdoor shower is a great feature especially when the ocean breeze is blowing in. You can pack lighter with washer and dryer in unit. Our stay at end of July for a week was a bit warm, although the beaches were very unpopulated and water very nice. Would recommend staying in this home and on Visques. People are friendly, nice laid back environment to take a break from the chaos. Expect to pay a bit more for groceries and eating out. Everything you need is available in the kitchen to prepare your own meals. If taking the ferry over, make sure you are there in plenty of time ahead of departure. They start pre-boarding one hour before departure and won't allow you to get on if it's 10min before departure. Strictly enforced. Definitely recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week for our anniversary trip to Vieques. It was a beautiful property, high up on a hill, just perfect for watching the sunset and listening to the ocean. Jane was very responsive, and the property manager Alberto was helpful as well. We are definitely hoping to make a return trip in the years to come. It was comfortable and clean, the outdoor shower was a wonderful perk and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay 100%!

We really enjoyed our stay. Jane was very accommodating when we arrived. She met us at our car rental agency and drove us to the house, as it is a little tricky to find the first time. She provided me with some recommendations about restaurants and grocery stores on the island. The condo was clean and comfortable for our family. We really loved the outdoor shower!

My wife and I spent 2 months at Wind Dancer. It is a sophisticated, well designed and comfortably decorated space, wonderful for entertaining our friends. There is a lot of kitchen space for preparation and a gorgeous view of the ocean while dining al fresco. It's an easy walk into Isabel, the main town. A quiet and wonderful refuge. Jane and Paul were warm and helpful hosts.

We loved our time in Vieques. Jane and Paul were incredible hosts. Jane met us at the airport where we collected our rental car and then showed us the way to their home, which was extremely helpful given the twists and turns in Isabel. The unit is beautiful, full of wonderful artwork, comfortable places to sit and dine after a day in the sun, and a view that can't be beat. Jane and Paul gave us fabulous advice that meant we ate great food and saw sights we would not have otherwise visited.

Property is as pictured/described... no complaints. The semi outdoor shower was wonderful, refreshing and just such a different and "special" added touch to the property. The manager/staff of the property were so helpful and amazing! The communication was very great and extremely helpful to me as i got ill on this trip and had to stay longer than I reserved d/t being stuck in ER. I would/will def stay here again. However, the one thing I would note (and this is not a criticism, just some info that I think needs to be shared with anyone considering the Condo) is that this is the lower level of a 2-unit condo. To access the unit there is a pretty long flight of stairs that could be an issue for someone who has trouble walking up and down stairs or very small children. Otherwise, no complaints here.

Jane was very responsive to questions we had before our visit and during. The home is super cute and very clean, large and spacious. There were only two of us but another couple could have joined us with plenty of room. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen full of everything you need to cook! No issues at all and we would absolutely stay again! Beautiful beaches! Jane was awesome and her friend Dotti was super helpful also!

The minute we walked into Wind Dancer we were thrilled. It was comfortable beautifully decorated and spotlessly cleaned. I was impressed with kitchen and dining area . The master bedroom with the outdoor shower felt like I was at a spa. I will definitely be coming back to Vieques and I am staying Wind Dancer

Perfect place to refresh
This home was as lovely as it seemed in the listing. It was incredibly clean, comfortable, and is conveniently within walking distance to a wonderful bakery, local grocery, and restaurants. Likewise the view and location is peaceful and private with a gorgeous view. Lastly, the host couple are very kind and friendly. I will definitely make this a repeat trip.

Wonderful stay/ lovely place
Driving in Vieques is a challenge and cars expensive, so having Jane set up a car for us and take us to and from the airport was great. Also supplied great info on grocery shopping, beaches, restaurants. Hosts couldn't have been nicer or more helpful and responsive./ Wind Dancer was cool and spacious, comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, awesome patio where you could always hear the waves and the occasional horse clomp by. Dead end street and perfectly safe. Mosquitos and gnats bad this time of year, but WD even supplied bug spray!

This was the best place yet....suitable for a couple and even a small family without children. It felt like home. Clean! Cozy! In an excellent area! Friendly neighbors!
I called the dogs "our dog alarms"...not annoying..they let you know if anyone is around. Perfectly stocked with everything we needed! Comfortable beds, great decor, the kitchen was nice and the outdoor shower wonderful!

Bad aspects: no coasters in the great room for the beautiful wooden tables. Protect those tables Jane!!! Leave a book to record guest comments! I want to share how perfect your home is!

One Floor layout with lots of space nice patio, kitchen & comfortable beds. Note that not much on the island is very new, most things are a bit dated. The stairs in the VRBO photo, are the access to get in and out of this Condo. Host were very helpful and nice. At the time of our stay businesses in the nearby area or Restaurants are still mostly not open. Taxi's are selective where they are willing to take you transportation ( Car) rental is helpful for exploration.

Beautiful view, nice large place, fully equipped kitchen with lots of k-cup coffee. Some non-working items, typical of Vieques. We enjoyed it.

It sits atop a hill that provides a remote feel and a nice view of trees and ocean. Everything we needed was there. We will be back to enjoy the outdoor shower and wrap around deck. You must have a car to get around and we rented the owners car. We were even given a ride to the airport on our checkout. You will enjoy.

We had a very nice time during our stay. While getting in and out of the neighborhood can be a bit complicated the location is beautiful. My only recommendation is to update the listing not showing a jacuzzi and maybe some smaller pans for cooking breakfast. Else it was great.
