Tiny rooms, poor soundproofing, limited parking space

the site is really good, and really quite. the self-check in process is really easy
the entrance lamp of room 2 isn't work and there is a rubbish inside the tea set box......anyway just for one night...fine

The beds were comfortable, the location is good
A small room, difficult to get it dark at night, one of the beds have no reading lamp

Check in went exceptionally well considering there were no staff there.
More than 2 pillows and facecloths would have been nice. There really was not enough room for 2 people with luggage.

Room - clean, comfy, with ensuite bathroom, perfect bed, desk, electric kettle and tiny fridge. Doors almost soundproof.
Teabags/instant coffee/instant drinking chocolate in the room :)
Location good as well.
Free wi-fi.
I know there's no kitchen in the guesthouse, but as there's a microwave, it would be useful if there were at least a few plates to borrow and eat something in the room. Also, a teaspoon in the room would make it easier to make tea/coffee/chocolate.

The room was exactly as advertised, clean and comfortable. The guesthouse is in a quiet residential area just off of route 1 and in walking distance from the geothermal park and a couple of restaurants. Grocery and petrol station very near. Tabba was very helpful.

Because of the epic weather and closed roads, I had to look for an overnight stay in the nearest settlement. I like Iceland for unpredictability.
The room looked like no one cleaned it after previous guest(( Used dish on the table, used towels, garbage in the trash can (lay's chips if it important), man's hairs in the bed and bathroom. Nobody on reception to talk to about it (selfserv).
Thanks to my sleeping bag I was able to sleep there.

Coffee corner, very kind host, she even gave us some greens and pizza, since all stores incuding gass stations were closed due to Christmass. Great location!
It was a bit cold in our room #4, but when we put all heaters on max move our heads away from window, it was ok and very cosy 👍

Bathroom in room. Comfortable bed.
Town is beautiful and geothermal offerings are so interesting. Loved the community hot springs pool. Very easy access to room for check in and out on our schedule. Never saw host.
No soap or shampoo but not unusual in Europe so our bad for not asking. Said daily room service but didn't happen.

clean room and good beds
we paid more for 2 rooms than we would have for 3, but they didn't tell us that when we changed the booking. and when we got there there was no bedlinnen on the third bed and they had forgot that we were three people staying there. and still they charged extra for the bedlinnen.

Clean bedroom. Nice location. Good wifi.
We couldn't t close the curtain because it was broken. The tub was damaged and the boiler had not enough space to full.

The room is a little bit small

Well located as Golden Circle base and the eponymous Reykjadalur walk. Close to pizza microbrewery and supermarket.
Small but comfortable (included a mini fridge) and very clean.
Easy check-in and check-out with self use codes. Easy parking in front.
Windows didn’t open, which meant a bit stuffy as we were very lucky with very warm weather. Would probably be fine in winter.

Hveragerði was our favourite place to stay during our two weeks trip around Iceland.
The guesthouse has a good location within walking distance of the Geothermal Park, a park with lovely Reykjafoss or a supermarket. Our room had an electric kettle and a small fridge, which was great. There is a small kitchen area with a microwave you can use in the hallway. Check in was contactless (all very easy!) and we didn't meet staff, so I can't comment on that. Parking space was always available right in front of the guesthouse. The bed was large and veeeery comfortable.
They gave us an upgrade to a different room which looked great (#4), but as it was our last night, we decided to stay in our room and not carry all our things over there.
Our room was on the smaller side, which isn't a problem in itself, but there was no space to put our bags and they were often in the way. Space was limited but shelves on the walls could be an option.
The room wasn't dirty but cleaning was definitely done superficially and quickly. We found a sock on the small fridge, there were multiple empty rolls of toilet paper under the bathroom sink and a pair of underpants was on the communal shoe rack in the hall when we arrived and still there when we left.
There was only one towel per person. It would have been nice to have an additional smaller one to wrap around your head after a shower.
