The location was great. Our room was large and spacious. The bathroom was very big compared to other hotels. Amazing mountain view from our balcony. Breakfast was excellent plenty of variety. Staff were very accommodating, cheerful and helpful. Special mention to duty manager Ms. Tamara for prompt professional attention at all times.
One of the best things I love about this hotel is that 20% of our payment goes towards Ukraine relief efforts. You will be asked to sign a waiver upon checking in and that's where it is mentioned.
Again I say… a hotel is just bricks and mortar and it’s the STAFF that make you want to return.. These are people of passion and compassion. Kind hearted, open-minded, fun and curious, they love to give and they love to care, they go above and beyond… and they deserve so very much to be appreciated.
I would recommend this nice property We really look forward to returning.
Apparently, there were 2 Oishe hotels in Stepantsminda. Unfortunately, our driver took us to the wrong hotel and after carrying all our luggages inside we found out we booked the other Oishe hotel. So please be mindful.
Our room was located on the top most floor, so wifi was quite weak.
No elevator, only a spiral staircase so it is quite tough having big luggages as you have to carry them up to your room.
No television but it was not a big issue.

The view from the balcony was amazing. The staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. The hotel and room was clean. It was 10 min walk to the center. Special mention again for the staff, they were the loveliest people we met in Georgia ❤️
There was a weird smell in the washroom probably the sewage system is causing it.

I loved each and everything about the property. The location, the meals and the host. She is extremely warm and so loving…. I had the best experience and stay over here. I am definitely coming back over here.

Everything! We stayed for one night and recieved excellent service throughout our stay. On arrival, our room was upgraded and we were so grateful as the views from the room were stunning! The location is fantastic and the views from the room terrace are exceptional!!! We loved our stay and would highly recommend ! Thank you to everyone at Oishe that made us feel so welcome!

Amazing view of the mountains for the room and a shared balcony. Very relaxing and beautiful. Note however that the rooms that have "mountain view" are not facing Gergeti/Kazbeg, they are facing in the direction of the road to Tbilisi, which I hadn't noted not having been there before. Nonetheless, I don't think it took away any of the enjoyment of the beauty. Warm place, good beds, everything you need.

The staff was very nice, and had a nice lobby to drink tea and coffee. Room has good view!
The room had an unpleasant smell all the time, and it was impossible to sleep with all the noises in the lobby. If anyone is talking in the lobby you can hear it like it's in your room. Also when you shower in the bathroom you have water everywhere.

The property is located within about 10 minutes walk from main Khazbegi town in a residential area with stunning Mountain View’s The balcony has great views of mount Khazbegi.
Rooms can be reached using a spiral staircase, so not for wheelchair users. Room is spacious, neat and very clean. Daily housekeeping service is available. No air conditioning but windows are insect proofed so can have them open at all times for fresh air. Heating facility, bed side lamps and wardrobe are available.Bathroom is quiet small but clean with fresh towels and amenities. Bed was comfortable but was bit hard for personal liking. Triple room cones with one queen size bed and a single bed. Common iron and ironing board available near the staircase landing.
Lika and Tato was great hosts and ensure guests are comfortable and well looked after. They are very knowledgeable about the surroundings, attractions and recommendations. Hotel can arrange taxi/ tour guide services.
It’s a home stay with hotel amenities and a very cozy place to stay.
Highly recommended.
Few points of improvement.
- Breakfast wasn’t available due to non availability of a cook, even though the previous traveller reviews had very high praises.
- Water is relatively expensive - 2 Lari for 500 ml
- No tea , coffee or water available in the rooms.
- Tour pricing are expensive compared to what’s offered directly by the drivers in the city. Eg: visiting two local villages within 10km was charged 100 Lari, while the same was offered at 60 Lari at the tourist attraction centre.

I booked this hotel with no cancellation option, big mistake!
If I had known there are spiral stairs to the room I wouldn't have booked (so hard climbing with suitcase), and that wasn't the only thing.
Our room was upstairs and there was no light in the hallway to see the key lock ...
The rooms were tiny, half the size from what was seen in the picture. The picture shows 2 glass doors to the balcony, but our room had only 1, I think they split the rooms...
The bed was back breaking, we couldn't sleep good.
In the room nearby the guests decided to party till late night, with noise and tambourine!
Breakfast offered for the price of 31 lari per person, 150 lari for our family . Not reasonable at all (in this country you can sit in a restaurant and eat plenty of amazing food for half the price).
We went to eat breakfast in a guest house nearby, and it looked better than this "hotel" and the food was amazing there!
I am sorry I booked in this hotel, especially since I found out later that kazabegi has many other nice places to stay.

The place was very clean and had a great view of the mountains. The breakfast was very tasty though we had to pay extra for it. The host was very helpful and she even recommended us some places to visit in Kazbeki.
