Six nations stay at old town brewery

Second stay in this charming apartment and it didn't disappoint. Excellent communication from booking till stay. Great location,clean,quiet and well appointed. We had everything and more that we needed. Close to the station and a short walk to most of Edinburgh sights.

I can't think of a thing not to like.

Strong smell of paint in apartment, not very clean

Central location (bit remote), good beds, well-equipped kitchen

Bathrooms not clean, styling a bit cheap (stuffed animals etc), strong smell of paint in the apartment (bedroom windows could not open, unfortunately not adequately resolved by owner after several reports)

Lovely apparent shame about zero communication and lack of parking as advertised

Property was in a great location, warm clean and comfortable and well stocked.

I tried to contact the owner by call (leaving a voicemail) by email, by text and by WhatsApp as provided in our email. This was on Monday 27th, our stay was December 2nd. I had absolutely no reply. I was asking about the free parking provided which is a joke. As far as I can tell they think it’s ok to say free parking and leave it as that. What you actually find is a narrow garage with narrow access and good luck getting into that with anything bigger than a smart car. I have a cx-3 which is t a massive car but I had no chance. So what was meant to be free parking ended up an extra £22 to stay in the nearest parking at the train station.

Sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Apartment. Die Lage ist sehr gut.

Die in der Beschreibung angegebene Terrasse existiert leider nicht. An das Apartment grenzt ein Lichtschacht für 4 Wohnungen.

Brilliant location for visiting the city. Very comfortable with wuirky decor.

Quirky steampunk style decor on a great location for visiting the tattoo

It was great to have private parking in the garage, but the entrance was only just wide enough. Less than 2” clearance for each wing mirror on a Ford Focus….. but we managed it!

A stylish and spacious apartment with two separate bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen

A stylish and spacious apartment with two separate bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. The parking was really convenient for we could park our car in the garage. The host sent us a very precise guide for getting there and getting the keys, making the whole process really easy. The location was great – the old town was really close. The apartment was quiet and in addition to two separate bedrooms there were also two separate bathrooms.

A perfect stay for three friends!

Host was very accommodating in letting us tuck some luggage in the garage early. The kitchen was well-stocked and was a great jumping-off point for our weekend!

The keys are a little confusing - I think the colors on them could be updated.

cheap and cheerful

Location was excellent. Apartment was spacious with a bathroom for each bedroom. Kitchen equipment was good quality. Beds were comfortable. Additional touches included games to play, complementary biscuits and coffee.

Dishwasher wasn’t working, Drawer inside freezer was broken. En-suite bathroom wasn’t as clean as expected, given the hi spec apartment. Hosts didn’t respond to queries re parking.

Rude & unprofessional host

Host very unreliable, cancelled our booking via a voice note to my whatsapp with 4 weeks notice! Very rude and unprofessional messages - AVOID they do not deserve your booking!

Great location. Thoughtfully furnished and very comfortable for a family stay / small group. Good Wi-Fi connection.

Parking was extremely tight - only suitable for small cars. Dishwasher wasn’t working during our stay and despite alerting the staff to it, wasn’t fixed. Freezer can do with a good clean.

Superb

The decor, location and the fact the car was safely tucked away for our stay. We had everything we needed and more.

Neighbours were a little noisy but nothing that really bothered us. Wonder if anyone else has reported anything supernatural, we had an uninvited guest on the first night, one that can walk through walls!!

Loved it very much

The owners went out of their way to accomodate our early arrival needs, which was very much appreciated. The apartment is in a fabulous location ( right on the doorstep of Holyrood Palace) & a minutes walk to the Royal Mile. Kitchen was well equipped and apartment extremley homely. Could of stayed much longer. Thank you to Linda & Craig.

Spacious apartment, very cool decor. Parking and washer/dryer were priceless to have after weeks on road.

The apartment is true to the pictures - beautifully designed, well furnished and good location. the apartment had all the necessary facilities.

Unfortunately, there were no handsoap availble and the kitchen was not as clean as it could be. Unfortunately the contact with the staff was also absent (no replies to WA message) during our stay. Not deal breakers but any response would have been appreciated.

very nice location since you can walk the city centre easily. nice accommodation but if you have a big car, good luck to park in the garage.
