Comfy room, clean, nice staff, good food downstairs, and everything very affordable. Having the privacy of a private room at a dorm price. Would stay again. 👌🏻

Amazing staff, great price & the best tour day with Tony!

We had the most amazing stay here! Great location near to the market, with some small local bars & restaurants on the same road and in the surrounding area. The bed is comfortable & at night when the air con is turned on the rooms are a reasonable temperature. Super basic, but clean and comfy! The social bar area downstairs is great at night, with nightly offers varying from cocktail nights, live music nights or quiz nights. The staff are absolutely fantastic and our host helped us out so much from the moment we arrived. She made us feel part of the hostel family and organised trips and our transfer for us at a super reasonable rate! You absolutely have to do the full day tour offered by Pomme. We’ve been travelling Asia for months and it’s the most fun tour we’ve done so far. Our guide Tony who works with Pomme was the funniest guide all day, gave us a really great day full of laughs, food and beer! He was also really really knowledgable on the history of the area and gave some heartbreaking personal stories - it’s tough to listen to but absolutely worth learning about. Thank you Tony for our day which you made so special, we had an absolutely amazing day with you and would do it all over again - including all of the local food and plenty of beers😄 Cannot reccomend staying here enough, and 100% get yourself booked on a tour with Tony! You won’t regret it!

I wouldn’t say we disliked anything, but if you are particular about room size & air con, make sure you set your expectations accordingly. Wasn’t an issue for us because the price was fantastic and we had an amazing stay.

it was very clean. the only hostel I have stayed where facilities were clean and without any strange smells.

the location was so depressing. the bamboo train is about 3-4 miles from the property and should only cost $5 return trip and $5 for the train ride itself the tour guy from the hostel told me it’s costs $9 just for the get to the bamboo train and the then and $5 for bamboo train!

Great value private room

Very good value for a private room and perfectly functional.

Bathrooms were a bit smelly especially in the mornings - I think changing the bins more frequently would make a big difference.

Great place to stay, good value for money.

Staff were friendly, and the facilities and location are great! The room was sizeable enough and the bed was comfortable.

Pillow was a little lumpy but not a major issue. The hostel is quiet, but I imagine mostly due to it being off-season.

Bartenders were friendly. Having your own private space with AC and fan. Options of tours.

Beds extremely uncomfortable. Also, the rules also kinda make it seem like there is a curfew? However, a bit unsure.

Best day trip touring battambang

The full day tour was amazing - Sam was the best tour guide we could have asked for. So knowledgeable and funny. The tour was such good value for money!

Superb

The staff were super friendly and co-owner Olly was very helpful too. The food and especially craft beer here are delicious ! The rooms/pods while compact are big enough to fit all your belongings. A very well run hostel and bar popular with backpackers and locals 😊

Loved the concept of single rooms in a hostel. Very reasonably priced, loved the restaurant/bar downstairs. Wifi was good.

Beds are a bit hard, never seemed to be enough toilet paper in the toilets.

Great to have your own room, but very noisy place.

Nice atmosphere in the hostel. It’s great to have your own little room. The tour with Tony was great, he’s a great guy! Recommend to take a tour with him.

The music was loud till midnight. I couldn’t sleep The bed was hard and showers were okay but not always warm.

You get your own cabin (as visible on the pictures each cabin consists of a bed and bit of place to store the luggage) Everything was clean Helpful stuff

Awesome place to stay in Battambang, probably the best! Would always come back when I'm Battambang again. Cute idea, having small single rooms for more privacy. Nevertheless, connecting with people is made super easy with the common area including bar and restaurant :) Very welcoming owner, really appreciated the ease of changing my booking dates and awesome full day tour offered by the hostel, 12/10, can definitely recommend!

Best Hostel in Cambodia!

Instead of dorms they do small private rooms, they’re quite basic but got everything you need, and it’s so nice with some privacy. The downstairs area is a bar and restaurant, and full with both locals and tourists. It was the perfect spot in a great location! And Johnny and the team were super friendly, gave me so many tips on where to go, and really made it feel like a home away from home. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Good stay

The tour of Battambang was AMAZING and definitely worth it! Do it!! The guide, Sam, was awesome!! The cooks kindly boiled my boyfriend his own eggs.

It only has a fan instead of AC so it was pretty hot.. but it was okay.

Very good stay

- Private rooms with enough space for you and your luggage and good working fan and socket - WiFi works well - Breakfast not included but you can order separately - baguette and coffee are good - Quiz night was great!

- Lack of toilet paper at night (which is normal in shared bathrooms). I would suggest having a pile/basket of toilet paper rolls at the entrance of the toilet. - A bit noisy due to having the bar/restaurant downstairs (so bring earplugs)
