Das urige typische bayrische Haus. Es gab leckeres griechisches Essen und ein gutes Frühstück. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

The house is on the main road, it is easy to reach Schwangau to visit the castles and wonderful town Füssen is also nearby. While the price is high compared with the modern and new hotels in the cities, apparently it is moderate for the location of Foggersee. The room was standard in style and size for alpine/village family run establishments. The breakfast was good. The young man who serves as receptionist and waiter was very pleasant and does his best to be very helpful. The communication in English/German is limited.

It's a family ran joint, I believe Greek. SUPER sweet and helpful! Check in and out was a breeze and there is a restaurant on the first floor conveniently meeting any food and beverage needs. It had a "grandma's house" feel with lots of wood furniture, funny/interesting decor, and lots of tchotchkes.
It's not their fault, but communication was a little amiss sometimes (though I do appreciate their concerted effort to understand and help).
Breakfast was very basic. Not a huge selection, but suitable for the price.

excellent location for access to Neuschwanstein castle.
My 100% pet hate (and my wife) is nylon sheets and sadly that is what we had. Booking.com should add this as a filter!

We had a wonderful holiday at the hotel. The location is great and the breakfast is rich and tasty which includes vegetables and fruits. But what really made the stay great are the hotel staff. The two girls and boys at the reception are so kind, they welcomed us with a smile and helped in everything possible, and it is very important that they speak English.

Great room with comfy bed and facilities. The hosts are lovely people making sure everything is perfect for you. Close to Fussen and some of the lakes.
The noise coming from other rooms was sometimes too much for our baby, but it is normal considering there was poor isolation

Very good option to stay. It seems that a Greek family owns it, they are nice people. The evening restaurant (taverna) downstairs in Greek style was also great (and the shrimps were exceptionally juicy, fatty and tasty :))).

Close to Hochschwangau, Neuschwanstein castles. We also recommend to visit Füsser.
Mattress was very (too) soft to our taste. Not very comfortable for the back. But we are aware that this can be a matter of preferences.
In the late evening sounds from the kitchen are quite loud (with opened windows) but ear plugs solved the issue.
Breakfast is not a self-service so quite demanding for the friendly but then busy staff while having to ask for each additional drink.

Beautiful location, close to the chairlift,recommend taking it up for the incredible views . Owners were so pleasant and welcoming. Room was lovely with super comfy bed and pillows. Breakfast was delicious Locked shed for bikes

Nice and cosy hotel near the castles. The room was clean and had all the necesseties, and the breakfast was really sweet: each table with a little pyramid full of goodies. The rooms are on the first floor, while on the ground floor there is a little reastaraunt where in the evening typical greek food is served. We didn't have the chance to taste it, but it smelled and looked really tasty! The owner didnt't speak English, but she was very nice and helpful and we were able to understand eachother anyway.

Nice place to stay with awesome breakfast. Friendly lady who met us on arrival and took care of the breakfast. Right next to the mean road to Fussen.
The room is not very soundproof, could easily hear the neighbours talk. Parking is a bit limited but no problem since there were not many guest.

Friendly staff. Rooms are spacious, decorated in an antique style. Breakfast was good. Beautiful nature, in some places there is a nice view of the castles.
The woman who serves both the restaurant and the hotel is very busy, we have been waiting for our accommodation for a long time.

Very well kept pension , great breakfast and great attention from the breakfast chef .
Upon arrival, a lady received us and she was not the most friendly person. We spoke little German and the simplest of tasks like filling out the registration form became a reason for her to point out that we were doing something wrong... In the end she was ok, but for guests who have travelled all day and appreciate a warm and easy welcome and registration, this lady was not an example of that.

Good location, and good breakfast, rather clean rooms
1. Lack of english communication
2. we did not get the room we expected (pictures show only the bigger room)
3. They did not answer to any questions online (via booking.com).

The view through the window was beautiful. The room looks somewhat tacky but clean and large enough to feel comfy. The host was enthusiastic to help. If you have a car and are looking for a place near Füssen, this could be a good option.
We stayed on the first floor, The hotel beer garden is downstairs and just outside of the hotel. We could hear chatting among the customers . The people seemed to be enjoying their time in the beer garden and because of that, we had to stay awake until midnight.
