Not nice. 2 words

Firstly it was a hot summers day and night there was only a door and a small window in this family room...no fan at all...and you can not leave your door open as it is right by reception with all.lights on and water fountain and them(the staff) playing music and making a noise till who knows what time of the night even though their gouse rules are no music at any time of the night...very inconsiderate.

On arrival NO room available. The owner didnt take responsibility for booking mistakes on the website. Very very bad

WORST STAY IN SOUTH AFRICA

I WILL ADD PHOTOS. THE PLACE IS DIRTY, FALLING APART, HAS LIVE WIRING HANGING LOOSE, PLUGS ARE LOOSE. IT IS A SAFETY RISK AND WILL BE REPORTED TO AUTHORITIES. CEILING IS FALLING APART. FLEAS ON THE CURTAINS. WINDOW SILLS DIRTY. CUPBOARDS FALLING APART.

The building is old and dirty no doors at the toilets everything is dirty they don’t even have load shedding lamps no soaps no sugar no hand wash the things we also noticed there lots of prostitution in that place they even smoke dagga in the place that place is terrible

Very dirty. Looks like a house of ill repute. Paint coming off the walls. Furniture broken. Very dark inside. Once I said that I cannot stay here the manager did not even make a appearance to offer assistance. I am 70 years old and really was not prepared to stay in that filth

It was memorable!

I liked that the shops were in walking distance. The beach too. The staff was so friendly and welcome. David, Moffat and Carlton they made our stay for ever memorable. Please buy food. We had a bar fridge and couldn't stock up. We loved sitting in the lounge the couch is very comfortable. The kids enjoyed playing outside in the back yard. We were disappointed as it was not what wa advertised but we ended up having an awesome stay.

I didn't Like the ants in our room but Carlton got us Doom. We did not receive enough towels too.

The website of Bookings.com is not 100%. Nowhere is that we have to pay damage deposit or parking. We already paid R2680? for a place that is not worth R700. The drain of the shower was blocked and the waterpressure is very poor. Nowhere is a board that shows the place name. Reception area is dodgie and yes I will not recommend this place to Anyone.

The way it was set up nice and I loved the vintage look, becoz it was winter it was a little cold but nvm that it is a place of wich me ND my husband will come again to

I can't say that I didn't like anything coz for us it was great and the staff is very polite and respectful

Staff did what they possibly could to remediate the bad experience

Very bad mattress, not a refreshing smell, noise of other bad behaving guests at 2am. Should be advertised as a backpacker's joint. Curtains did not keep the lights shining into the room out.

The room is a storage ,not clean,the bed is next to gyzer and opening by the bed , no wardrobe,asked me for money incase I break anything,and wasn't told before, The picture on booking.con is different from site

I loved my stay and the room was amazing. The only thing I didn’t like was the service.

It was super clean and neat. Close to shops and the beach. I loved the location of the place.

I didn’t like the service from the staff. They where very slow. I had to repeatedly ask and ask for specific things that I needed assistance for. Checking out was also a big problem for me and the stuff again are slow and not working as a team. I was very disappointed with the service. Also we should have had more information about how things work. For example like the deposit fee we had to pay. Plus when checking out they make you wait to go check the room and made me wait for 40 minutes.

1.Shower tiles, were filthy, 2.expected tv set was non existent 3. Sunlight liquid for dirty dishes not provided 4. No cupboard facilities for clothing 5. Bathroom cupboards not maintained 6.Deco was shabby 7. Barhroom Basin ancient and stained. 8. Kitchen tap was loose 9. All cupboards underneath the kitchen sink didn't have shelves just empty space 10. Bed mattress had so many stains 11. Linen ancient and colour faded 12. Curtains not easily distributed and discoloured 13. Bathroom window latch missing couldn't close 24. Water pressure in the dhower

It's a dump. The photos are completely misleading.

It is dirty. The bedding was clean but that is about all.

Hygiene very bad, found cockroaches and show the manager how dirty is the room. Bedding had a lot of stains also.
