Beautiful place to relax with delicious breakfast & helpful, friendly hosts
Loved sitting on the verandah looking out over the paddocks to the water eating freshly baked bread with home made jams. The kids had fun Kayaking & canoeing on the dam & feeding the animals.

Clean, fresh, friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast goodies supplied were great if you like that kind of food, maybe offering a menu before attending may have been useful (maybe this was on the original booking site - cannot remember) or maybe offer a slightly lower rate if one brings their own breakfast provisions. The food was however beautifully presented and was very fresh. Owners were very respectful and friendly and assisted us with advice on the best roads to take etc. The cottage was extremely clean and had all one could expect in short term accommodation on the rural property (e.g., being self-contained). The rural views were lovely. The animals were a tad noisy (wild and farm stock) but there is not much anyone can do about that - one needs to expect this at such a rural property. Being closer to nature was lovely.
The lounge (chair affair) was extremely uncomfortable. The shower had a lot to be desired - was on tank water with pump - it was very difficult to get water at right temperature for shower (way too hot or freezing - wasted a lot of water to get it right). But this is not the end of the world either. Was not quite as private as we would have liked - the main farmhouse was a tad close - could hear the owners talking if they were outside their house and we heard loud music from time to time (maybe from a neighboring farm). Being a working property - having a quad bike or similar go behind the house at different times of the day was a tad annoying. The road was closer to the property than we thought it would be - some very heavy vehicles used this road from early in the morning till late afternoon - so not as quiet as we would have liked (this of course was not the fault of the property owners - it just is). We felt this stay was a little overpriced for what it was, but we do realize that prices everywhere have had to go up due to COVID, floods and the war overseas.

Peaceful Farm Stay
We enjoyed our stay so much! Thank you for the warm welcome by the host: Pam, Mike and Sam 🐶, the cottage is so cozy, clean and it has all the amenities you need. My kids enjoyed feeding the farm animals so much and playing around at the property. If you ever need to buy ingredients for your lunch/dinner, the Gympie Central is just a 15~20mins drive away. Pam's breakfast is awesomely delicious and healthy: with the home-made warm bread, jams, yoghurt and fruit salad as well as eggs fresh from the farm! The veranda is a perfect spot to sip a hot tea during the afternoon while overseeing the lake and alpaca field. So relaxing and chill - it is the perfect getaway for your family! ❤️
