Lovely location as long as you want peace and tranquility as it was a bit of a drive to get anywhere. We loved it, it was very clean - amazing stocked bookshelf bought back some wonderful childhood memories and great local area information. Comfy beds and well stocked kitchen items. Nice little pub 2 minute walk away with lovely food.

A very clean cottage with all facilities you could want, in a super location with ever-changing views of the Solway fifth. Very helpful and friendly hosts too. The Kings Arms in the village was most welcome for an easy meal and drinks.

The cottage was beautiful with fantastic views, everything we wanted for a short stay with the added bonus of a pub only 2 mins away.

Not a lot to do without a car

The cottage was wonderful, the views from the balcony were amazing!!! It was very clean and very well equipped, everything you could need and more. The bed was super comfy and the underfloor heating was great. Loved opening the curtains in the morning to see if the tide was in or out , fascinating to watch, then sitting at the breakfast bar watching the stunning view. We loved how peaceful and relaxing it was. We ate at the village pub most nights, literally a 2 min walk away, which was great and very welcoming. Also tried the Tea room in the village, gorgeous cakes. If you want a peaceful and relaxing break, this is the place to be- just what we needed! 😊
