Location was lovely and room was spacious.
Breakfast was from around 9am which was too late for someone travelling for work.

The general stay, location, facilities, staff, and the comfortability were all absolutely spot on! We thoroughly enjoyed the spa day and making full use of the facilities. The treatments we had were so relaxing, the therapists were lovely and very accommodating. The lunchtime food was beautifully prepared and tasted lovely. We have stayed at Ayurvedic retreats before where the food was traditionally Vedic, so this perfectly matched our expectations. The room was lovely, to be able to see the gardens and pond was a lovely touch and made the stay even more enjoyable. We really loved the gardens, and the fact we could freely wander and sit at our leisure was lovely. The Koi Carp, turtles and other local wildlife made the experience even more enjoyable, and it was lovely to feel so close and connected with nature.
The only aspect we were not happy with, and this really is the only thing, was the location presented itself as being able to cater for gluten free. Whilst this was the case for the lunch we had during the spa retreat, this was not the case for breakfast - and we stayed for three nights! I did stipulate in our booking that my partner was gluten free, so I was disappointed that the only option she had for breakfast was granola and fruit juice and she could not enjoy the pastries as I could. For future reference, I would recommend widening the options to ensure this aspect is fully catered for. As I mentioned above, we have stayed at other Ayurvedic locations who were able to fully accommodate this requirement with ease, so there should be no reason why this location could not do that same. If the pastries are bought in, then surely gluten free options could also be ordered? If the produce is prepared in house, then again, seen as gluten free was catered for in the lunches, this should be an easy option for breakfast as well. Considering what we paid to stay, the treatments, and that a specific request was made at booking - based on the locations description - we were disappointed that this was not catered for more broadly. But this was the only aspect we were not completely happy with.

Beautiful view from the room, lovely breakfast hamper (crossaints and granola, fresh orange juice) peaceful location, great price for a getaway from the hustle and bustle. Gardens are peaceful other than nature sounds which is exactly what you need on a get away retreat, Easy to locate and just enjoy the privacy! Provided with fresh towels and a tea/coffee station in the room. Beautiful to chill in the gardens and wake up to a peaceful view
Small damp in the room and blinds very hard to open and shut, bigger cups for coffee machine needed (very small improvements)
Prices I would say for spa access as a guest was quite high so we didn't get to use the facilities

Lovely breakfast basket

Peaceful settling
Breakfast, no fruit, just juice, more butter, honey crystal 🥴 just needs more effort and attention.

The pub near by very good
hard to find poor signage

The outside space was a little piece of paradise. The pond attracted all sorts of wildlife to keep you entertained. The pond and gardens are simply beautiful. Our room looked out towards the pond. The room was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Great pub 5 mins walk away for quality food and drink.

Excellent spa resort break. Location was perfect close to Canterbury. So peaceful the spa itself was really good , set in lovely grounds and just the right sizeb
Or room was clean and sizeable for the 2 of us. Loved the breakfast delivered to our room in a picnic basket.
Only quibbles would be not taking the finished breakfast plates away during the day.

the location was special, surrounded by nature and a bid pond with fish and ducks. lovely
sadly there was no jacuzzi which I think it should be a basic tool in a SPA, plenty of space to fit outdoor immersed in the nature

Not much actually. As you have to check in by 5 I was expecting lots of natural trails near the property. Nothing.
Lack of breakfast even after having a confirmation email. Lack of anything to do. Lack of any information about what to do.

It was beautifully peaceful, lovely views. The room was comfortable and we weren't disturbed by anyone else.
Enjoyed the breakfast basket ....ample food in there and was a treat to have in the room
Lovely location ...within short walking distance of a gorgeous pub for evening meal
No instructions on how to find the room when we arrived in the dark

Room was clean on arrival, modern and well equipped with a good shower and lovely large window overlooking countryside and wildlife.
Bed large and comfortable
Excellent village location with glorious walks and countryside on the doorstep
Duke William pub and The Rose Inn both very good pubs within short walking distance.
Responsive to requests for more milk and missing butter for breakfast
Lovely grounds- beautiful well kept garden
Lovely orange juice
Not good value.
Room was not cleaned during the two night stay so cups remained dirty, bed not made, bins not emptied etc. For £145 per night you would expect this.
Attention to detail missing for the price charged such as breakfast items absent, garden recliners broken.
Full skip close to room
No Wi-Fi-/TV - I was made aware of this in advance
Spa closed due to bank holiday.

Tor rooms are set in pretty gardens, our room overlooked the little lake, and the village location is picture perfect. the accommodation is ideal if you’re using the spa for a night.
the accommodation was nice but basic for the room rate, not enough storage space for belongings and could have provided more tea/coffee supplies for the room seeing as breakfast was served to the room in a basket, so no real access to get additional supplies and reception only seemed open during the spa hours which was 9-4pm. ideal if you are using the spa attached to the property for an overnight, but quite expensive for what you get.

Wonderful oasis of calm and tranquility.
The therapists were top notch as were all the staff.
We stayed in the garden suite, which was clean comfortable and cosy.
We will definitely be returning.

like the big window wall of the room. Quite and relaxing place next to the farm.
Many flies around the place and even one bug come to my bed at night. Breakfast is a bit simple.

Breakfast was good and adequate for us. We enjoyed the tranquil view of the lily pond with bridge reminding us of Monet's Giverny. We enjoyed watching the birds including a kingfisher, moor hen with chicks, tortoises! The Banana trees with bananas were remarkable. A truly retreat we were looking for after some personal recent health issues.
The illumination in the bathroom was poor particularly near the mirror with poor visibility for shaving etc. The shower should have grab handles to prevent falls on a slippery floor

It’s set in a beautiful location, rooms are spacious & comfortable. The property is clean, the breakfast was a continental hamper. It was everything we were looking for.
Nothing - it was all good

This is a little Oasis of Calm and Tranquility. We didn't use the Spa facilities, but the room was lovely and spacious with views over the fields where we spotted birds of prey and foxes playing. The small herd of cows from the neighbouring farm came right up the fence by our room and kept us entertained. There is a beautiful landscaped water garden with goldfish, waterfalls, and little bridges accessing quiet seated areas.

Staff were helpful and friendly on the two occasions we saw anybody.
Very overpriced for the lack of facilities. No TV, radio or telephone in the room. Breakfast still served to the room and not in the dining room as other hotels are now doing. Breakfast very poor choice of two items. When returning to the room at night there was no lighting on the decking path to our room which was the furthest away and the decking was on the edge of the pond, with no rail and again absolutely no lighting. Very dangerous. The shower room was extremely dark. Being a spa one would expect some nice toiletries in the shower room.
1.0
Breakfast presented well but unimaginative and boring. Repetitive as very few options open to us
No TV or radio in room
It enough coffee provided
No refill for water
A number of beetles in room
No handrail by pond which was not illuminated as the timer obviously incorrectly set
9.0
Excellent secluded location, friendly staff, would recommend.
Wasn't anything I didn't like.
