This hotel is OK for a one night stay if you are straveling by Stavanger, but not if you want to enjoy the city

The room was clean

The hotel is basically a hotel that is part of a hospital. This was initially not clear as we booked it. So in terms of location and atmosphere, it was not the best. Also, we arrived early and asked if the room was ready, this was indeed the case but it would cost us 200 NOK to check in early (2h early). This is not really customer friendly behaviour, especially since the room was already ready. Also, my pillow smelled a bit bad, which tends me to believe these are not washed properly.

Nice and comfortable stay with very clean rooms.

Overal a nice and clean place to stay. The room were spacious and the wifi was good. The room itself had a kitchen so if you want you can cook or warm up some food.

The location it self is a bit boring to have a nice evening walk. There is a shop close by. I also found several restaurants in walking distance in case you need food.

Very good

Hostel was cheap, clean, and simply good price/quality ratio. Check-in was easy and there was a parking nearby. I would go again for that price if the issues we encountered doesn't happen again.

Issues that we ran into: 1. There was a fire alarm at 7:30 which was on and off for an hour. I don't know if it was a fault of some resident or the hostel alarm system but it was defeaning at times. 2. Sing was leaking water at the floor

Overall, decent value for your money. No air conditioning and the beds are incredibly hard.

The location was close to multiple grocery stores and a couple places to eat. I liked the combo locked doors as well that required a code to get in.

The advertisement said there was air conditioning. That is false. Opening a window is not air conditioning which was the only way to cool down the room which only happened at night and not very well. The bed was very uncomfortable. It felt like I was sleeping on the ground. In the middle of the first night I took the pad off the pullout bed and placed it on top of the pad on my bed. It helped a little but not much. The second night I used the spare duvet to place under both pads on my bed in the center of the pads. This helped and made it possible to sleep decently.

Superb

Nice hostel. Modern equipment, clean. Good location for hiking the pulpit rock. Just 20min drive by car.

There is no stuff, everything is automatic. Feeld a bit odd.

A great hub for your outdoor adventures, with helpful people, facilities and a local coffee discount

The people at reception were all awesome. We’re really impressed with Norwegians! Very kind, pragmatic and helpful! Also the hostel was exactly what we needed and the discount at the local coffee shop was appreciated 🤗

The facilities were maybe lacking charm in terms of spacing and architecture (in my opinion), but because they were spacious and well furnished (and what I said in the first section) it wasn’t a worry!

Perfect for our needs!

Great location for our needs (trip to preikestolen). Very close to shops, great facilities for cooking our own food. Cosy rooftop balcony!

lack of kitchen utensils even on the common kitchen and bed was not good.. microwave oven does not have glass plate and unable to use it..

Decent stay

Nice viewpoint on the hostel's roof, relatively big common room.

The lift wasn't working so we had to carry our luggages upstairs. Also the cooker in our room wasn't working too, we could use common kitchen, so it was ok. Bds weren't much comfortable, too, but doable.

Good stay in Norway for the money

The room is clean and the price includes fresh linens. Kitchen has all utilities, some oil/salt/pepper/cereals and a terrace with the view on the bay. Three supermarkets and a gas station in a walking distance. Very friendly staff.

Unfortunately during the stay stove in the kitchen didn't work and people had to run with the pots between the kitchen and the rooms. The main light didn't work in our room too. Also a bit confusing to find the way to the hostel. There are road signs to the hotel (where the reception is), but the hostel has a different road (a turn shortly before the gas station)

Quiet environment with close proximity to supermarkets and petrol station. Our room had cooking amenities and if we needed more items, these were available in the common kitchen. Self check in was straight forward. We tried their local brew and it was so fragrant. 30 mins drive to preikestolen.
