Beautifully restored home overlooking the bay,tastefully decorated, full of character,lots of parking ,cosy comfortable beds, everything we needed was provided for a wonderful stay.

Great location, bed was very comfortable. The house had everything needed e.g. pots, pans, washing macine, dryer.

The lounge was not particularly comfortable, and the cold water in the shower made a noise.

Position is excellent, overlooks the water and the sunrise is gorgeous. less than 5 mins walk to closest pub and restuarant and 10 mins to the best Coffee and Portuguese tarts at Cactus. Outside undercover area is large and comfortable. House is well equipped and kitchen is excellent. Perfect for couples.

Only negative is there is only one toilet and bathroom but if you don’t mind that the house is great.

Comfy beds, great kitchen facilities, good base from which to explore the island. Nice to return each night to relax in the lounge or watch the pelicans from front porch. Thanks

Wifi was only available in the dining room. Water hammer noise sometimes in the shower.

A lovely 99 year old heritage cottage in town that was fully equipped and very comfortable. Fully eqipped kitchen, very comfortable bed, good usable back verandah area and excellent internet service. Plenty of off street parking. Walk to everything.

A front screen door would be ideal to let the sea breezes through the house.

Beautifully renovated and walking distance to shops.

Great location, close to the beach. Plenty of room for everyone. Bunks and tv in kids room was a hit with the kids.

Heaters could be updated. Could be more kids DVDs and board games. Really disappointed with the shower..we weren't pre-warned about the poor condition and we're a family who love our showers. The wifi did not work the whole stay (maybe need to invest in better internet provider) and after long days exploring on the island we were looking forward to relaxing with Netflix. The first night there were blackouts intermittently, we thought it was just us, I messaged the manager and felt their response was blunt stating 'The whole island is without power Mel', not even giving us suggestions of where to get food (since we couldn't cook our dinner) or if there was candles in the House etc. Probably wouldn't stay again for the price.

It was very central to everything in Kingscote and a nice heritage property.

With a house of this size and the capacity to host up to nine people one bathroom including the toilet is quite poor. When we arrived none of the heating had been turned on and the house was very cold, taking quite a while to heat it up.
