Super séjour à Kandy, merci à Mickael et Alexandra👌🙏

L’accueil chaleureux de Mikael et Alexandra La piscine à débordement avec une vue sur les montagnes La propreté irréprochable du lieu Les conseils pratiques communiqués Le service de laverie Le petit déjeuner et le dîner excellents et copieux (un petite pause « no chili no pepper » ça fait du bien à l’estomac !) Le roof top est au top, les enfants ont adoré

La pente très raide pour accéder à l’hôtel mais super Mikael et son « three wheel » volent à votre secours pour la gravir et même la descendre ! Chambre familiale un peu étroite pour 4 personnes et surtout les valises mais les agréments extérieurs (balcon, terrasse, rooftop, piscine…) compensent bien ce manque de place. Sinon, Tout était parfait.

Beste Frühstück auf unserer Reise

Das ist ein Kleinod in mitten dieser lauten Stadt.Die Familie ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Pool ein Pluspunkt. Das Frühstück ist der Hammer und sogar echten Bohnenkaffee gab es. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort. Zimmer sind klein, aber ausreichend.

It was really good. The hosts were very courteous and warm

I was provided a packed lunch for my travel. The couple were so cordial. I missed swimming as I was not prepared for it. They have a beautiful pool and roof top to hang out.

Very clean, comfortable, and peaceful b&b

A very comfortable and nice stay, on a little hill in peradeniya, very close to the botanic garden, and the university. I absolutely loved the breakfast that Alex prepared every morning, it's delicious and nutritious and varied every day. The hosts, Michael and Alex, and Maia their daughter, are very friendly. They are very eco-conscious, it's inspiring to see them use organic food, and serve drinks and water in glass bottles, etc. From the little details you can tell that this house is made from wonderful heart. In the yard, there is also a very nice swimming pool, and around sunset the big bats (as large as a big eagle!) from the botanic garden would fly near, and it's quite amazing to see. It's a place of comfort, peace and quiet to return to after a day's travel and sightseeing around Kandy. Take a swim in the pool, have a nice hot shower, and drink the ice tea made by the host provided for free, and have a wonderful night of sleep.

What a great place! Very nice house with a nice atmosphere. Alexandra & Michael gave us the warmest welcome, we really felt at home. There is a great view of the mountains from the swimming pool. The room was super clean and the breakfast delicious! Would definitely recommend this B&B!

Comfortable homely stay ! Recommend !

We were welcomed warmly and the place was absolutely clean as expected. We were also served an outstanding breakfast which we cannot commend enough. It was a comfortable stay for 1 night.

Everything was fine ! The place is located on a bit of a steep hill and our vehicle being a small car could not quite pull up the hill until Michael kindly gave it a push and we made it to the top 😄

Really great stay. Modern cosy house with French charm. The room is very clean and comfortable - everything is left to chance. The couple who run the property are nice, friendly and attentive - here you feel that you are really welcome guest. Delicious breakfast!

We had an amazing 3 nights at Michael and Alex's homestay. I would highly recommend it. The views are incredible, the swimming pool was a very welcome cool down. You are only a short walk to shops, restaurants and the Botanical Gardens. Fab breakfasts too!

Our stay at De Paris a Kandy was wonderful. The hotel is like a bed & breakfast situated in a beautiful, modern and spacious home. The hosts, Michele and Alexandra, were so kind and welcoming to our family. The breakfasts were a real treat and prepared very fresh and the rooms and bathrooms were well equipped, clean and perfect for our family. The A/C worked well and there was a nice pool we used, as well as several outdoor and common areas. The location is close to the botanical gardens and about a 10-15 minute tuk-tuk ride from the center of Kandy (still close enough to order take-out or delivery!).

Perfect to visit the Royal Botanical Gardens since you can even do it by foot. From there you can easily reach the center of Kandy with a Tuktuk. The house is modern, very clean and the hosts were really friendly and helpful.

It's an oasis of Swiss-French attitude, taste and order in the heart of Sri Lanka.

Nothing, really. Just be prepared for a steep walkway from the main street. Quite challenging for a car, but managable.

It was so nice to stay with Clémance and Fabien. Really lovely people, always willing to help make the best of our stay in Kandy. Really nice and clean apartment with nice breakfast

Couple from Finland enjoyed

Probably the best of places you can stay when youre in Kandy. Owners of the guesthouse are so warm and nice. I think there is no thing that they dont know about Kandy and the surrounding areas. They arranged to us a very nice trip to waterfalls and authentic visit to local farmers house for a lunch. The house itself is very clean and comfortable. In many places pictures may lie a bit, but here the place is exactly like the pictures. The pool was amazing, and the rooftop was so nice. Bed was very good and comfy, bathroom was modern. Thank you for everything, especially for the dinners and conversations at the rooftop. Dont remember us for chair and toiletseat. :) Thank you for letting us to getting know to you. All the best! best place we have stayed in Sri Lanka, clean and new furnitured rooms, great breakfast, good location, 5 minutes to the botanic garden. Hotel is located on a small hill, so it is quite calm from hustle and bustle of the city. And the best one - is the owner Fabian, very helpful and supportive person. Definitely recommend to stay

Calm shelter in noisy city

Amazing

Everything. The room size was convenient and the view from it was amazing. The bathroom was clean and had all the needed facilities. we had access to tea and coffee for free and the breakfast was the best, it had variety and it had good coffee. The staff was the best part. They were friendly, generous and helpful. They helped us to know what is the best yo do during our stay in Kandy and helped us with our trips and tours. Also told us about the best places to eat. They were lovely and we were happy to meet and know them.

Excellent stay in a clean house.

We discovered the cleanest place in Sri Lanka.We had our private place on the ground floor.Clemence and Fabien were very helpfull to organize our visits to Kandy and around. They give us very charming adresses to eat and drink (beer). L'atmosphère était aimable. We recommend "de Paris a Kandy" to our friends and family! Il faut le voyage!

Beautiful Kandy Homestay

We had a fantastic stay at De Paris a Kandy. The place is away from the hustle of the city but close enough for easy transport, and was very clean and comfortable. Fabien and Clemence were great hosts, giving us great advice and tips for Kandy as well as other places, and made a fantastic breakfast too. Highly recommend.
