Great staff and location but dirty rooms..

Good location, staff were very accommodating and helpful.

"Deluxe" room was dirty, how can you call this deluxe? Stains everywhere. It's a little pricey when you consider this.

Feeling home in Istanbul!

The apartment was super cozy and big enough for 4 adults. Cleaned and comfortable. The location is perfect. You can walk to Taksim square or Galata Turm in 15 mins. Thanks to the staff Sahir, Tahir and the night shift guy We enjoyed a lot our stay!

Nice place to stay

The hotel is in a very good location. Close to Istiklar street, taksim square. Lots of places to eat, bars and clubs are all around this area. The staff is very helpful and friendly, they organized a transportation to the airport and gave recommendations of when would be the best time to leave. We stayed here for a few nights. There was a conditioner, hot water and comfortable beds. Walls are decorated with nice Ottoman paintings.

There are no major issues with the hotel. Walls are a bit cracked and it needs a little cosmetic changes (like painting walls and ceilings, as it is not done professionaly), one light bulb was not working. It would be nice to have a small stove in the room. But overall everything was nice!

Gives you the feeling of being a resident, not a tourist.

Functional and clean. Was well suited to our family of five. Could be an apartment-like base for a longer stay. Located in the historic Galatasaray neighborhood.

You can find a better place to stay

The location is near Istiklal street which was convenient but you can find better places to stay for a better price.

The rooms were exceptionally small. The size of the room did not match the price I paid at all. I entered the room and it was over, there wasn't even space for a suitcase. The manager was not understanding at all and didn't allow for even a partial refund since I had booked dates that were not suitable for my stay by mistake. I had explained the situation to them and all they had agreed for was a free breakfast from there side (which was not very good either and was definitely not expensive), even after trying to negotiate multiple times.

Amazing Staff, comfortable accomodation

Staff here are the best! Shout out to Saeid who ensured we have everything we needed, and patiently assisted us during our stay. Also Selim, the owner who professionally handled the mix up that had happened with our rooms. He also helped me book my bus ticket to next destination which was much appreciated. Hotel is at the heart of Istiklal street which means street noises are inevitable. Rooms were clean and we had our rooms cleaned 2-3 times during our 7 days stay.

There were minor facility issues in our rooms but Saeid fixed them right away.

Staffs Mr. Said and Mr. Bilal were very helpful and pleasant in the front desk. Location was very accessible to all tourist locations

Exceptional

Istiklal street 30 sec, galata tower 10 min taksim square 10 min. Amazing location and we had amazing view of Ayasofya Mosque on our top floor room. Room is clean and nice, also the balcony.Friendly crew. This will be not mine last time.

Bad hotel

This is the worst hotel ever No hot water as they closed and open it for us They open the hot water when we asking them!! Why Not valued money Bad location The room furniture are since 1990 The dust in that room as the room did not clean for ages The carpet has a lot of hair for previous people and not clean. Bring your towel if u will stay the the hotels towels are black from the dirty not cleaned well and old towels Under the sofa in the living room so much of dust, dirty thing which is for ages. The music from down the street- (clubs) coming to the rooms. The shower is broken.

A regret, will not stay at that place again!

Nothing! Just surprise how this hotel get that amount of point! ???

Did not like anything! We booked via Booking, there was ‘genious discount’ that was the reason I’ve chosen but the one who was in reception was not help full at all! As soon as we saw the room I said this not the one we’ve chosen! Our selection was 20m2 but room was less then 10m2! When I said I am not satisfied with the room and the size the receptionist said he could give us money back, with the price we paid this is the best option’ Normally I could cancel but we were so tired and It would take a certain amount of time, so we just checked in! There was only night curtains so we could not open the curtain in day time! Bathroom was too small and there was water resistance problem so that the ground apart from shover was always wet! The toilet seat was not working properly! And there was a hole in one of the wall that could be seen from other side! Moreover, I called for a one hour late check out they said ‘let us check and inform accordingly’ I said ok but no one respond or called!

The hotel was amazing. The area , the decor of the hotel were all exceptional. The room described on the website is exactly what it looked like . The beds were absolutely so comfortable. Will be returning soon!

The a/c in the main living area wasn’t really strong but it worked.

Istanbul was a pleasant surprise and we would go back tomorrow.

The value was outstanding. The staff were very helpful. The location is excellent for walking to things to see and do, and reasonably close to public transportation.

The room was small and awkwardly shaped (but still good value overall). The location is hard to access via taxi, tour bus for pick-up, etc. Saw no nearby parking at all. In sum, the location has pulses and minuses and one should decide accordingly.

very basic hotel hotel doesn’t accept charging EUR by credit card.(only by TL) EUR exchange to TL is less than market Towels need to be replaced by new ones cover of toilet chair is not opening properly.

I think everything about the hotel was absolutely spotless. Right from greeting us till the last day, the staff were extremely supportive and respectful. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the services provided were splendid. The location was right at the heart of Taksim which is extremely convinient for travel, shopping and great food. This hotel is an excellent value for money and I would highly recommend the others to choose Royal Taksim Suites for a wonderful time at Istanbul.

- All the staff were kind and welcoming - Fast and Early check-in - Spacious apartment - The location between all the shops and bakeries, close to Taksim st. but away from the croud. - Short walking distance to Galata Port.
