Fantastic! Great position, very close to Taj, with many shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood… Very spacious and clean rooms, comfortable beds, delicious home-cooked breakfast and incredibly kind and helpful staff.

The place was awesome, the staff was super helpful and the room was pretty and clean. It was the best decision to stay in this hostel.
The staff was great cause they helped us with getting a sim card working on our phones, buying plane tickets, booking us drivers and tuk-tuks and also buying some attraction tickets too.
I loved the place.

We particularly enjoyed the welcome by the host. He immediately put us at ease and explained how the homestead worked. He arranged for us to visit the Taj Mahal with a guide and made us feel confident in Agra.

Nice stay in Agra. The host was welcoming and the house was lovely! Sadly we didn’t get to enjoy the courtyard because of the poor air quality in Agra at the time. But the outdoor space looked very nice. The breakfast was generous and they packed a nice takeaway for our early morning drive to Delhi.
Barely enough hot water to take a warm, less than 2 minute shower, but ok for sponge bath. It became tricky with 3 people in the room.

At Hideout Agra it feels like home. Breakfast has many options, you can choose and you will always find the staff available to fulfill your requests
Could equip the bathroom with more shelves and hangers, a small rug, and more towels.

I seem to be unable to click on the icons above, but I wanted to let you know that I am very happy on all the above points. The owner spoke to me as I had faced a couple of issues in Delhi and he was able to help and provide valuable information.

Location- short walk to the Taj Mahal!
Home cooked breakfast was a nice touch
Great size room, comfortable bed.

We arrived early from a night train and they let us use a room while we waited for our room to be ready which was really helpful. I went on the “Indian village walk” which was a really unique experience. We accidentally left our jackets in the room and the hotel arranged for them to be brought to Jaipur with a driver, which we really appreciated!
One small thing was that the property could have had a water dispenser so that we could refill our bottles, rather than having to use lots of plastic bottles.

The hospitality was awesome. From the snacks, to the beer through to the tour of the old town. A lovely, boutique, stay with staff who were attentive to all needs. For those whom wifi is important, the wifi is more than satisfactory for remote working. Short drive to the Taj Mahal in a quieter part of Agra. Would recommend.

very clean household, with a kind and helpful family. Nothing to report problematic or unpleasant. Good breakfast and filtered water, with beautifull terrace. Really suggest

This place was located on a little quieter road away from the main street. The owner lives downstairs and the rooms are at least 3-to 4. They are all different sizes and configurations. The location is close enough to the Taj Mahal. We went early by Tuk Tuk to see the Taj Mahal and came back for breakfast. They have several tour packages but we decided to use Uber for all travel arrangements. Uber in India offers many options. We really use a lot for a month. The family room we stayed in was spacious and bright. The bed was comfortable enough for the Indian standard and provided the cleaning bedding. I like the shelf next to the washroom. I could organize stuff and store the luggage.
noises: I believe that there is a gym or aerobic class in the morning downstairs. We were out mostly so, it didn't bother us much but if we are planning to stay late inside in the morning, I am not sure how comfortable you will feel. Our room was next to the open kitchen so this was more troubling. I don't think they can't change any of these issues. It is a shared house so you will hear others more than a hotel room. There was a quieter room at the back. (solo or couple travelers who seek for the peace)

Friendly and warm owner. The idea of how the owner started the home stay is inspiring. The hospitality was really warm and amazing. We got a super nice breakfast that can fill your stomach with food that is home cooked and they were making it on the spot. The room is super comfortable that you don’t feel to get out from the room after your trip around Agra, definitely you can have a good rest and relieve your stress here. Quiet and calm environment. Hide Out here means to also let the travellers to hide themselves from outside noisy world and they can have a good rest here. Overall, it was so satisfying and it makes me feels like home to stay here for one night. I can’t wait to come back this home stay in near future!

I liked the cleanliness, kind staff and swing in the terrace garden. It was a homely atmosphere.
The egg was smelling bad and the extra bed was a bit too squishy

clean enough and had a/c
The toilet seat was broken. there was no kettle in the room and it was seriously overpriced compared to other hotels we stayed in on trip. although it’s called a home stay it’s more of a backpacker guesthouse. we didn’t have any type interaction with any family there. in fact there were just a few young men managing the place and they were helpful enough in terms of carrying bags and offering to make some breakfast but it wasn’t like staying in a home in any way! we also got a lot of mosquito bites at this place, but maybe that is just Agra.

good location (5m away from Taj Mahal with Uber). The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean & spacious. breakfast is delicious. we really enjoyed our time at the hideout Agra boutique.

The size of the rooms, the breakfast and the proximity to the Taj
One of the biggest "Deluxe" rooms with occupany of 4 adults had very bad odor and it stink bad like unkept toilet. Tried using exhaust fan but even after running it all night to and using a room fan, it was difficult to survive the night. I asked for another room but apparently all were occupied. The bathroom in the room also had water seepage which was probably caused the issue I hope the management takes my feedback seriously and corrects the issue or take the room off the site. Not suitable for any guests

The breakfast was excellent, our room was spacious and it was nice to be able to make a tea or coffee whenever we wanted. I also loved the water filter system so we could top up our water without having to buy plastic bottles. We walked to the Taj, which was handy too. The shower was good. They let us leave our bags after we checked out, which was very kind and much appreciated..
Unfortunately for two days of our five-day stay the gym played loud music at 7am and 10pm. It is not the fault of the Hideout, but it sounded like there was a party in the next room. If you are lucky and stay when the gym isn't running sessions, your stay will be perfect. Never go into a shop using a tuktuk in Agra, or you will pay twice the price since the tuktuk drivers demand a cut from the shopkeepers.

The host was very friendly and helped us call an Uber when we needed to go to the station. He speaks English very well and showed us a lot of tips when travelling in Agra.
The room was clean and cozy. It has a small heater, which is enough for me in cold weather. The other staff were also very helpful.
Nothing. Service is good enough for the price.

The room was clean and had free access to the kitchen area
At 7 am each morning loud music from the gym below starts and drowns out everything in the homestay for around 2 hours. There is no mention of this by the owners in the property description.
As for the surrounding area, and I know this is outside the owners control, it's squaid. Work on the new Agra metro has turned the area into a huge building site. When it rained during our visit there was mud everywhere. There is no warning of the construction works

friendly and helpful owner, comfortable room for a family, good location
hard to keep shower water from going all over the bathroom (but that’s the style)

I have a high standard of cleanliness that most Indian hotels do not provide. But this place was incredibly clean. The room and common space was very nice with very pretty decorations.. They provided a nice homemade breakfast of aloo Paratha and poha and toast. Because it was a more communal way of staying in a new place we got to chat and meet new people.
No elevator so it's not accessible. But the staff carry bags up and down

lovely hotel in Agra, beautifully decorated , clean, a great hot shower, amazing chai and fantastic hosts….. it’s close to the Taj (within walking distance) and they offer a free guide to take you there in the morning at sunrise
they were doing some restoration works downstairs but this didn’t effect our stay and will make a great addition to the facilities once complete

staff was good and very helpful, so was home made breakfast
phone number given for property never picked up phone they always called back after few mins by that time we solved the issue.
bathrooms were not clean, they were also stinky. Towels had acidic smell.
there is fitness studio downstairs which does play very loud music early in the morning 7:30 ish.
in 2 days stays water was out twice also water heater provides hot water only for a min or so post that it’s all lukewarm not that helpful in Agra winter
