Whether you drive out to The Shops at Mauna Lani or visit Waikoloa Beach Golf Course is up to you! When you're not exploring the island, you can take advantage of top-notch resort amenities. Tennis courts provide an outlet for athletic guests and shared grills offer a refreshing alfresco option for dinner. Of course, your vacation rental's kitchen comes welll-equipped for cooking more intimate meals. The nearby living area offers cushy furnishings for enjoying free WiFi and the cable TV. When you're ready for bed, simply head upstairs to either of the two bedrooms. The two twin beds can be converted to a king for added flexibility. Save your dates now and start planning an island vacation you'll always remember fondly! Perched alongside the Waikoloa Beach Golf Course, you will be able to tee up in no time for a memorable round of 18, so bring your clubs along! If the sand is calling your name, Waikōloa Beach is just over a mile away where you can post up for a picnic on the shore, swim, or snorkel. Plus, when you want to grab a bite to eat or explore the local shops in town, you can make your way a mile to the main drag of the area. THINGS TO KNOW This home does not have any ground-floor bedrooms. Beginning in September 2022, work on Phase II of the irrigation system will begin. This project will take about three months to complete. There will be significant impact around the Buildings 8 thru 12, & Building 21 as they dig new trenching and replace irrigation systems. Expect noise & dust from the work. This rental is managed by Vacasa Vacation Rentals of Hawaii, LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. The location is beautiful and very central to all the best adventures on the Kona coast. The pools are fantastic and the unit has everything you need for a comfortable fun stay. Vacasa was also fantastic service and responsive. I highly recommend.

The room was clean and fresh. NO BUGS or CRITTERS.
There were a few things that I want to point out though. First the pull out couch in the living room was broken and very dangerous iron that I scraped my leg on. They definitely need to have that replaced. Second the recliner chairs makes a lot of noise when in use. Third their was no rice cooker available/provided. Room was not stocked up like other rooms.

The condo was clean, nicely decorated and good communication with email messages. It actually had a few kitchen supplies, coffee filters, salt, pepper, spices. I had asked about these things ahead of time and was told none of these would be available, so I got before checking in. Would have been nice if I had been given correct answer. Also very cheap, one ply toilet paper. Those are my only issues. It was nice

The area is nice and well maintained. The condo was clean and had a nicely equipped kitchen. About what I expected for an area like Waikoloa. However, SEE BELOW
1. the garage is not accessible to renters and was locked but does show in the virtual tour for use. We intended to use the garage for our dive gear. Although it states 1 reserved parking spot it DOES NOT state the garage is
off limits. If you have 2 cars this would not be a good rental for you.
2. I booked through VRBO and when I submitted it instantly kicked me out and Vacasa popped up stating I was confirmed. This is confusing and could be more clear about the entitiy you are booking through.
3. The beach umbrella was missing from the beach items in closet.

Great location on the big island. Close to the things to see in the north, Mauna Kea, highway to Hilo, close to beaches, Waikoloa shops, etc. Would stay here again.

We enjoyed our weeklong stay as four adults participating in the Lavaman triathlon. The location was perfect, very convenient to the event and close to shopping, beaches, and restaurants. We loved the pool area. The condo was clean and well appointed throughout with plenty of beach gear, kitchen utensils, linens, etc. The property manager was always responsive and check-in and check-out were seamless.
It was inconvenient to only have one assigned parking space. Our 2-bedroom condo slept four people so we had two couples, each with our own car. We scrambled every day to find a parking space for the second vehicle. On this issue, the property manager was responsive but not helpful. They suggested we use Google Park to find parking spaces outside the resort area.
Some of the furnishings were not as shown on the listing. Furniture in the living area, especially the couch, needs to be replaced and updated. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms could also use remodeling as some tiles were cracked and the tub and showers were old style.
There was maintenance on the irrigation system on the grounds so the grass was torn up, areas roped off, pool closed, workers present, etc. Although we realize that maintenance needs to happen, the communication was “after the fact.” We probably would not have chosen this unit had we known about the construction. There was trash and detritus in our yard every day. It did negatively affect the overall ambience of the setting. I think this should have been communicated at the time of booking.

The condo was beautifully decorated and up-to-date. It was very clean.
The kitchen, laundry, bedrooms and bathrooms were stocked with all the necessities of a home away from home. Some surprise bonuses that came in handy were various sized ice coolers, beach chairs, 2 sets of golf clubs, multiple boogie boards and snorkel gear. We didn't take advantage of all of it but it was nice to have it available.
The management staff was locally available, which was much appreciated. I've stayed at places where this was not the case and communicating to someone in a different time zone is challenging. So I appreciate having someone available to address concerns promptly.
I would definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a 2 bed/2 bath condo in Waikaloa.

The Waikoloa Colony Villas are all about location: golf nearby, tennis on site, beaches and shopping nearby. And Waikoloa enjoys some beautiful weather. Hard combination to beat.

Very nice 2 bedroom condo for a family. We enjoyed the space a lot and great shared amenities to get outside and enjoy some beaches and activities outdoors.

We really enjoyed our stay here! During previous visits to Hawaii we've booked hotels on the beach and the four of us have shared one room. Now that the kids are older we've decided we want more space; so instead of being right on a beach we've committed to driving to a beach each morning during our stay.
This place worked great for that strategy; and it's so close to the pool/jacuzzi that it was easy to get in some pool time after a day of touring.
It should be noted that it is NOT easy to walk to a beach from this unit. In fact, there is not that much near the unit, period; so going for a walk, say after dinner, is not all that attractive. There IS a grocery store and mall nearby, maybe a five minute drive, so that was great.

The unit is well appointed, in a quite residential area, and has excellent amenities: tennis courts, pool/hot tub, weight room, and cardio fitness room (were surprised to find separate rooms for workouts). And nearby are excellent dining and shopping options. Also, a variety of golf courses, ones to suit all playing levels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

The type of furniture, appliances, down to the quality of towels provided were not “cheaply” made compared to other condos. You can really feel that the attention to details put on this condo was created to make every visitors feel welcome and comfortable. The condo staff made the experience very special and personable. The commutation prior to our check- in was clear and timely making sure that our first day will not be a chaotic one. LOL. Our overall experience defines what ALOHA truly means. Thank you!

Home away from home.
Loved this home. Spent a week in this townhome w/ my parents in toe (6 of us) then another week w/ just my immediate family of 4. Did not feel cramped at all. Having the two floors makes it feel like we’re not stepping over each other like we’ve felt in condos. Two comfy, but modern Lazy-Boy recliners were a nice treat. Washer, dryer and fridge were the best I’ve ever had in a rental. Great location steps from the pool, but far enough away (across the resort street) to avoid the pool noise. Very quiet location within the resort and nice to have the backyard space that opens up to the resort’s larger grass area, and then the golf course further out. Had all the comforts of home and came well equipped. Vacasa corp and local management were very responsive and great to work with.

Perfect stay
Could not ask for more. Location was great, just 50ft from the bigger pool in the complex. A 2 minute drive from restaurants and shops. 5-10min drive from the best beaches. House is kept clean and well equipped.
