Located in Great Sacandaga Lake, this attractive house for £203 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Located in the Town of Benson in the Southern Adirondacks. This 2 bedroom home provides a one of a kind vacation getaway. A private setting with breathtaking mountain and water views. This is a great rental for 1 family ( 2 adults, 2+ children) or for 2 couples. Start your morning with a cup of coffee out on the deck and watch for eagles, loons, ducks, osprey and other birds and waterfowl along the Sacandaga. Then walk right down to the water to do some fishing, kayaking or just relax along the 300 ft of waterfront, In addition to hundreds of hiking, fishing, hunting and boating destinations on the Adirondack Forest Preserve, this home is located near many year round attractions. Located 45 minutes to Lake George, Gore Mountain Ski area, or the Saratoga Race Track and Casino there are so many options to enjoy the natural and developed world alike. We are a dog friendly vacation rental. From July till September we only offer weekly rental from Saturday till Saturday Water levels fluctuate and we can't guarantee high water or dock availability after August 1st. This was our second time staying at the cabin, and we had an amazing time once again. Meghan and Arthur are fantastic hosts, communicative and very responsive. The house is cozy and spacious, and the views are breathtaking. The photos don't do it justice. The perfect setting for anyone looking to disconnect from the world and enjoy peace and quiet surrounded by stunning nature. We will go back again for sure!

So impressed right off the bat on arrival. Breathtaking and tranquil environment. House was very uniquely done and very catered to guests. Nothing like having a morning coffee watching the river and seeing the beautiful forest across. Id give 10 stars if I could and we will definitely be back. Owners are beyond accommodating.

This was our first time renting a property through Vrbo so we not certain what to expect, but this experience set the bar high for any future bookings! Property is on a quiet road, sheltered by woods on either side so you feel completely away from it all. Perfect part of the river to be on, very minimal traffic comes by because the water is on the shallow side, but still deep enough to catch some fish or take the kayak out. House itself is well appointed and quite spacious. We only used the king bed in the master to review, but it was a very comfortable mattress. The host literally has thought of everything you could need as others have mentioned. My husband and I, as well as our dog, loved the place and are already talking about booking this property again next year.

Great location and property on the river for an end-of-summer getaway. Clean and dog-friendly. The property was large and we enjoyed the lawn, the river, the fire-pit and the covered shelter on the deck. There were plenty of board games which we used on the days that didn't allow us to be outside. We were lucky to have abundant water in the river as it has been rainy. The owners were responsive to questions. We did not lack for anything. Thank you for sharing your property. Highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our stay was nothing short of perfection. The house is roomy yet quaint, has all the amenities you need, and the best host. Oh, and the property! The frontage along the lake is massive, with stunning views across and down the river. The views are extra special as there are no buildings or homes on the other side of the river, and with the house on a seldomly used road, the quiet coupled with the fresh mountain air gives you a sense of serenity. Meghan is a fantastic host, attentive and very helpful with local recommendations. We will definitely return in another season to experience this wonderful little peace of heaven again.

This is the third stay we have made at the property, each time has been better than the last. Can’t say enough about the beauty of the location and, as always the owners are top notch, they truly want you to be comfortable and enjoy your stay. Added bonus,… this time around we actually did see the eagle hanging out on the rocks in the river… he flew off before long but awesome sight. Looking forward to next time !!

This was such a lovely property! The hostess was very responsive. This place has it all! The house was well stocked. Great location! The only downside was that the drought had really receded the lake so we didn't get to swim & fish there. Oh, and the mattresses are too soft & you end up rolling into the middle. The house & property are incredible! Highly recommend!

The setting is gorgeous on the river with the deck overlooking the property and the lower yard with its fire circle. A few steps to the river.
The cottage is clean, well cared for and very well appointed. Such a comfortable place; we felt so at home as soon as we arrived. We would stay again for sure.

The owners could not have been nicer! The property was huge! Much bigger than pictures can do justice. The views of the water were great! House was well built and all the amenities we perfect. “Extra” of just about anything you needed was available! We had a peaceful time with bonfires at night and swimming/ air conditioning during the day! The town was small,extremely friendly and welcoming. Riverbed had lots of rocks! Bring those water shoes!

Only 10 minute drive to lapland lake XC ski center. (We recommend). And river view out the window was great.

Fantastic Fall Weekend
Second time staying at the Eagle’s Watch property. Can’t say enough about the beauty of the location and the fantastic accommodations. The owner is probably one of the best I’ve ever dealt with on VRBO, genuinely interested in making sure you enjoy your stay. Can’t go wrong with this property for a vacation.

Nice clean house with nice screened patio and yard fire pit. The house was nicely set up and owners helped though TV setup issues. Yard was okay, but needed more maintenance (sections overgrown). Enjoyed kayak use, but water level had already been dropped down for the season (lots of rocks to deal with).

The attention to detail by the owners was impeccable. The place was spotless and beautiful. Anything you can imagine, that you may have forgotten, was there. Every time we turned around, we were amazed. I have NEVER been so pleased and impressed with a rental property. On a scale of 1 to 10, this one gets a 15! This house was better than expected. Very modern, clean, and had everything we needed. Very dog friendly as the area along the river has natural boundaries. Perfect for kayakers or small boats as the water starts to get shallow as you go farther down river which is good because the boat crowd can't go down that far. Beautiful views and the owner supplies you with more than most VRBO owners. The covered deck came in handy as we had a ton of rain for two days. Very responsive owners.
