This is a business hotel outside the city centre - easy to find arriving from the highway late in the evening. The hotel has a large parking area. Very good German-style breakfast.

The bar/restaurant cafeteria was disappointing with respect to food quality in the evening.

Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very pet friendly. All rooms have either a patio or balcony.

The double rooms are very small. The surcharge for our dog (15€) was higher than what we have paid elsewhere.

Excellent restaurant with big selection for a buffet breakfast and a buffet evening meal with soup, main courses and dessert which was exceptional.

The Location was good. The room had a balcony which was great at night to relax and to let in fresh air. I was able to bring my dog. The breakfast buffet had a large selection, and tasted yummy. Most of the staff were very friendly (there are always a few that aren’t)

Everything is a bit out of date. The furniture and carpet were stained (not dirty. Just used and out of date) and I expected a little more than the cheap garden chairs on the balcony. Rooms don’t have a mini fridge, which isn’t great if you’re staying longer than a night. And there was no clothes iron, not even one that I could borrow from the front desk.

The breakfast was a game changer! The shower was enjoyable and bed provided a good night’s sleep.

Staff member upon check in did not greet us nor make eye contact, which made things a little awkward.

The room was very clean and quiet, and had a nice balcony. My dog was treated like a proper guest. She got a gift bag and was allowed in the dining room. The breakfast was very good and diverse, with plenty of options in the buffet for vegetarians. Guests could eat outside in the garden, which was very pleasant especially for my dog.

I was a bit taken by surprise when I was told that I would have to pay 15 euros per night for my dog. Usually it is 10 euros in German hotels. Although my dog was treated exceptionally well at this hotel and I do not regret paying this sum, I think it would be a good idea to clearly state this extra charge on booking.com website. Guests with dogs should be informed when choosing hotels about the exact amount not just that there may be extra charges.
