Nicely designed, well appointed and suited the area.
I would have liked access to bbq’s at the resort.

Great location and really good facilities in a remote location. Good food options although one of the 2 restaurants was closed during our stay, but it was just a short walk to the other.
Freezing cold pool

Good value for money
Well equiped resort with all the required facilities
Overall, the room was better than expected
A few smiles at the reception would harm no one
Not having a private bathroom (however, the shared facilities were clean and convenient enough for a short stay)

Rooms were ready upon arrival. The A/C's worked well. Bathrooms are spacious and clean. They have an onsite restaurant, gas station and convenient mart. Unfortunately, breakfast ends at 9am!
The flies - OMG, do NOT forget to bring a Face Neck Fly Netting Hood! It's your new best friend. These critters are relentless. They try to get into your ears, nose, eyes, mouth,...

Location
Shared kitchen for the Lodge was very disappointing. Not cleaned while we there. No provisions to even make toast (toaster didn’t work). Fridge was full with a large bucket.

Really liked this place. Room was very pleasant, nice bath and bush view. Very clean and comfortable. Nice dark sky to see the stars.
Tavern was good to have, good beers & wine! Good to come back to after the rim walk.
Theres nothing we can think of not to like about this place

Breakfast was quite good however I had to pay extra if I wanted a real coffee. Also, the scrambled eggs were powdered which was disappointing. Location to the Canyon was good.
My room was located at the end of the lodge and the air conditioning units on the outside were extremely noisy throughout the night. I was also overcharged compared to the quote from Booking.com however they have since refunded me the amount. I am also still awaiting a refund of $18 that was also charged to my card for whch I am not sure what this was for.

Rooms were nice
Showers were lukewarm and bathroom floor leaked water. We booked nearly 6 months in advance for a standard room for 2 nights at a cost of $1365 and were refused checkin till nearly 6:00 pm even though we tried 3 times and then got cold shower. Talking to management they sent maintenance man to check and we then had lukewarm shower next morning. Other guests reported similar problems but they paid $200 per night less than us having booked only 6 weeks in advance. Luxury rooms were still a lot cheaper than our room. Management gave us a $50 credit to use at dinner but they would not accept so took it to front desk to use but they would not accept it either as they wanted us to use it as credit at next resort. We said we weren’t using anymore of their resorts on this trip and they eventually credited our bank account with the $50. We asked for a copy of our accommodation and dinner details and they refused to provide any. We left feeling rather ripped off after 2 days

Nice view.
Expensive. No water in room. Bathroom too far away. A/C average.

Located very close to Kings Canyon. All amenities were near the room which made our stay comfortable.
A bit pricey. All rooms should have some basic kitchenette items.

The cost - it cost over $600 for two people! We had originally booked for three people to share the room then changed it to two people but the cost didn't change. Ripped off!

Beds were comfortable.
There were no hooks in room 9 to hang towels clothes etc . Fly wire broken and door needed to be slammed in room 16 .

The place seemed almost deserted and has an unfinished feel to it. The meal in the restaurant I had was so-so.

Price - was extreme considering it was all empty

People were very nice.
The bed had fleas. The pool had a frog sitting in there n it was very dirty n we spoke to the front desk n they said we clean it everyday which we didn’t believe. Most of the food places were closed n the store which was open the prices were three times the Sydney prices n the person had out of date n expired food for cheaper price which is totally illegal n dangerous to everybody’s health. Also there was no internet duration our stay internet was down 😞😞

They gave us a free upgrade when we checked in. The room was comfortable, and we had a nice patio.
It is essentially the only lodging option in the area, so is overpriced compared to similar rooms in other parts of Australia.

We'd originally booked a very basic cabin in the campground and we were delighted to find that we'd been upgraded for free to a beautiful, recently renivated room in the resort! Two double beds and a private bathroom and all the basic comforts needed. This was exceptionally generous of the Resort staff and very much appreciated. The pool was the perfect temperature for an afternoon dip. Clean and comfortable in the beautiful surrounding environment.

room was clean and modern
facilities were a long distance from the rooms
