Wonderful hotel, close to Universal.

I like the Location it only 5 minutes Walk to Universal Studios, The welcoming, The staff was kind and the room was very clean.

clean. staff is very helpful and polite though.

lack of services eg… room service. therefore it’s unconventional if we need to eat in the room. we have to get out to buy food in. no proper hotel lobby seating. my in laws had problems walking and had to stand around while checking in. looks a little unprofessional. hotel room air con is noisy at night. not sure why.

Disappointing

The staff were friendly and tried to help when we complained about how out dated and old the rooms were for the price you pay to stay there.

The rooms were old the corridors old carpets and smelt. For what you got it was very expensive. It needs a full face lift. We did complain after the first night and the manager insisted they couldn't give us a refund but would upgrade us to a suite for the last night. The room had alot more modern amenities like a coffee machine and filtered water in the room which was great. But again the decor and design were old and very out dated for what the price of a suite would cost.

Wonderful experience

Perfect location, stone throw away from Universal studios, aquarium and water park. Lot of restaurants after we step out of the hotel. Lot of places to shop too. Room was maintained very well and it was very spacious.

Nothing to mention here.

Hotel room is acceptable

Carpark not easily accessible and valet park car in hot unsheltered area instead of basement shelter carpark. I have to wash car after leaving hotel due to dust covering my car

Terrible and over priced.

Good location to the water park and Universal

Poor service, took two days for the staff to respond to a faulty A/C unit in the suites. It took yelling at a manager on our last night to get a maintenance man to the room. Then we had to have a man wandering around our room. Not exactly what you from a room costing you thousands a night.

Exceptional

Firstly, this time round 24th Dec to 26th Dec2022 is my 2nd time staying at Hotel Michael for this year. We went during for a staycation on the 16th Jul22 and stayed for a night to celebrate my daughter's birthday & Hotel Michael actually done up a room with streamers, balloons & chocolates to welcome her. That is very awesome. So, we decided to stay again for the long Christmas weekend & also to celebrate my wedding anniversary in advance as the actual event is in Jan2023. Hotel Michael actually also fulfilled my request and gave us the exact same rooms that we stayed in Jul2022, Room 0954 & 0956. They are really really very awesome. We will definitely choose Hotel Michael again without any hesitation for our next staycation in 2023. You guys are super duper AWESOME. Thank You for the wonderful experience and memories.

There's nothing wrong/bad that will give my family or myself a chance to state the dislike.

Would not recommend other than location

Warm staff, Great location

Noisy night owing to great location, No room service, Loss of great view whereas curtain has to be closed during daytime for privacy owing to daily window cleaning outside from 10am to 6pm

Wished it was better.

The location, the jacuzzi next to the swimming pool, the bathroom in my room and the comfortable bed.

The pillows were not comfortable. There was no halal-certified food offered as breakfast or in-room dining menu for guests. The self-check-in system was complicated to use.
