The location is excellent and everything you need is there. Plus you get a free breakfast!
Our food order was forgotten about at the bar on the first night even though not many people were eating. The room was less than desirable and the facilities were quite gross but I believe this is due to the cyclone.

I think the jungle village is classified as a hostel, but I would be more inclined to describe it more like a caravan park with dorm room options!
Bathrooms were reasonably clean & I didn’t have any issues. There was plenty of light when needing to head out in the middle of the night to find your way. A very short stroll to the beach through the mangroves was amazing.
It’s nothing fancy, but I don’t think I have much negativity to share. Perhaps the only thing was the water out of the taps had a very metallic taste & I wouldn’t use it again for drinking water.

$165 for an ensuite room should have a TV, a mini fridge and tea and coffee making facilities.
Only a bed, toilet and shower, nothing else in room.

The workers Sunny, Flor and Sean were awesome. Sunny is a one man kitchen and a great cook!

The location is fantastic. The rooms have been upgraded a lot in the last years. Service in the restaurant was prompt and food was good.
You had to get on a chair to turn aircon up, down, on or off. Neighbours next door were noisy at night. No fkyscreen to enjoy nature at night. No water kettle etc!

Nice and clean room, with our own clean bathroom. The location is lovely, close to explore everything in Daintree and a short walk to the beach. The pool area was lovely and well looked after. Overall a very good stay as the value for money was good.
The kitchen is a camping kitchen, not great if you don't have your own stuff but manageable. The staff was a bit peculiar but in general nice. It was a bit annoying that the restaurant opening times didnt match when it was actually open and the food was average. Also charging 1$ extra per 14g tomato sauce to your fries was ridiculous. So overall there were just some little annoying things along our stay but nothing substantial. The rooms could have flyscreens.

The staff were more than helpful.
For the price I paid it was very good value. Holiday Park.
Not enought cooking utensils or cups in kitchen

The rainforest is beautiful.
Horrendously overpriced shoe box sized cabin at a 4-star hotel price. The pub charges $9.78 for 300ml beer on tap and even more for wine. The whole place is old, poorly maintained, and a tourist rip-off. I live 2 hours away, so as a local I feel especially ripped off. Avoid it at all costs.
