It was really central! The PeruBus and PeruHop stops were basically a 1min walk away. It’s also really close to the beach and so many restaurants. Has a nice courtyard area with hammocks to relax in.

The kitchen was a bit dirty and the room we were in was quite stuffy (only had a window out into the corridor which meant if we wanted air, we also had to put up with noise.

Unfortunately there was a light directly outside the door for the bathroom. When people used the bathroom they often left it on. It shines bright and directly into the dorm and constantly woke me up multiple times during the night. Putting the light on an automatic timer would solve this.

The pool is a lovely bonus even though its right on the beach. Good breakfast. And seems to be the place to be for partying Peruvians on the weekends. Full musica & dancing

Very good location! Beds are comfortable and rooms quite big. There are lockers for everybody that works. Lidia in reception is super nice and helpful with everything! And Jorge, the nightshift, is keeping security tight making sure people doesn't come in from the street - Very nice people working here! The offer a tour to Isla Ballesta which I would definitely recommend! The tour to the national park is more a car ride with photo stops and a very expensive lunch place - Would recommend to skip that and rent bikes by yourself or look into another tour.

It is not soundproof what so ever. I had a 6 bed dorm, first floor and got waken up every night/morning of drunk people entering the hostel. There are only two bathrooms for the people staying on the first floor + people hanging out in the reception area, kitchen and lower terrace. Never experienced bathrooms so dirty and smelly! Always had to ask for paper and soap. I ended up walking to the 4th floor every time, which was a bit better. Showers doesn't have hangers or shelves, so no rooms for your clothes or towel. Nothing to dry with afterwards so it quickly gets dirty. Kitchen is small, and there is no storage space whatsoever.. The space that there is, is 'private' and used by the staff. There is a ground terrace with hammocks and upper terrace, but places both chairs and hammocks are dirty and haven't been cleaned for a while. All in all there's a lot of cleaning staff, who you'll often see sitting togheter for breakfast and lunch-break, but I'm not sure what they're doing really besides that, cause the entire hostel needs a good scrub!
