Location was good. Property was clean and warm.

All was good, just the wait on keys.

We had a room at the front of the building on the first floor. It gave us a wonderful view of the sea and patio. The location was very close to a variety of small cafes and shops which we walked to daily for breakfast.

It wasn't an issue for us, but parking is limited if someone were to travel by car.

Comfortable and clean room with an excellent bed. Benefits from a fridge, microwave and hob unlike a regular hotel room. Nice spacious room with plenty of cupboard and drawer space and hassle-free accessable wi-fi. Easy and quick check-in & out.

A little rustic perhaps could use a little modernisation in places. Awoken in the very early hours by loud arguing from another room/neighbours, but otherwise a quiet/peaceful room. Only a small amount of toiletries on arrival, perhaps would benefit providing spare to prevent the need to ask for additional.

clean and warm… staff very friendly. parking outside.. sometimes may be 10 cars away but it didn’t matter I got parked and it was free. there is also a car park around the back so no panic.

nothing. if I had to pick a fault the room could have had a mirror so when blowdrying your hair or applying make up you didn’t have to keep running into the bathroom

We had a lovely stay here! The price was incredibly reasonable and i was surprised by the size of the room and the facilities in it, as well as the cleanliness and overall feel of the property. There was lots of off road/street parking that was free as well, which was a bonus. There were lovely bakeries and restaurants minutes from the property and it was right on the seafront too. Its about a 25 minute walk into central Southend which may be too far for some, but was ideal for us.
