The cabin felt clean, which is my top priority. While it was not fancy it provided us with the essentials. Also the location was great. We would stay here again.

Great location, walking distance to the grocery store.

Overall everything was great. The only downfall was the walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbors and anyone outside. Other than that it was great!!

I loved this little cabin. It would have been tight with 6 but it worked just great for our family of 4. Property was very clean and comfortable. Extra bedding and two air units in case it got too hot. Kitchen was fully stocked and functional. And the location was within walking distance to everything in town, two coffee spots, a playground and a hiking trail. Location was also the perfect jumping off point to everything in the area. I would definitely rent this again.

This cabin was perfect for my wife and I, along with our three kids under 11. It had everything we needed (stove top, cooking supplies, coffee maker, toaster, plus tv, ac, charcoal grill, etc). It was in a perfect location in Custer, walkable to town, grocery stores and some trails. There were outdoor seating areas with a swingset and fire pit. The host was responsive and was able to accommodate us an extra night (6 total) since we didn’t get to see everything in the area due to a rainy week. It was a cute place and there were other kids for our kids to play with.
Only drawbacks would be the pull out couch is very uncomfortable (but expected from previous reviews) so my daughter slept on the couch, and the master bed had a dip in the middle which was bothersome on day 1, but didn’t seem to bother me the remaining nights of our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location for visiting Custer and the Black Hills. Close to downtown, hiking trails and the Mickelson bike trail. Clean and quiet with nice outdoor space for grilling or having a fire at night.

We go to Custer once a year and this was the best place we have stayed at there, very clean, quite and the cabin was exactly as disscribed online. Will be booking with these folks again when we return next year.

This was a great location for exploring the southern Black Hills - just a short drive to Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, the Needles Highway and so much more. Easy to find places to eat in Custer and a grocery store just down the street. Our midweek stay was very quiet and we found all we needed in the cabin for making a quick breakfast before heading out. We were too busy, though, and not there long enough to read all of War and Peace (one of the book offerings on the shelf, along with DVDs, should weather keep you stuck inside on the comfy couch and easy chair). :)

The town of Custer is centrally located for so many activities, it is just a wonderful little town! The property was quiet, had a kitchen that was stocked well, slept is well, nice. For some reason I thought it was a free standing cabin, but it was several together. This was not a problem, it worked well for us and the neighbors were quiet. I’d love to go back and vacation there again. Also, a nice little grocery store was within walking distance, well stocked. Very good visit!

We were passing through on a road trip and it’s a cute place. The pull out sofa mattress was poor quality; our youngest (11 yr old, 70 lbs) couldn’t get comfortable so bony count on using that as a sleeping option. Everything else was fine.

This cabin was perfect for my family of 5. It had a large yard with a swing set and outdoor toys. After we finished exploring Custer state park and Mount Rushmore we enjoying playing whiffle ball and badminton in the yard. The cabin was within walking distance of Main Street and we have fun walking around all the shops.

1 night quick stop
We just had a quick 1 night stop. Clean and super cute. Appreciate the price for 1 night and 6 people! 1 bedroom with queen bed then a futon and pull out couch in the living room. Plenty of bedding and towels. Quick text communication with manager. Thanks!

Small
This property is very small. It does have what you need and is clean. A long stay might be a problem, but for an overnight it works well.

Bigger than expected, VERY accommodating
The online pictures, in my opinion, made the cabin look smaller than it actually was when we arrived. It was clean, very welcoming, and fully stocked with blankets, towels, pillows, etc. (I was exceptionally impressed with the kitchen and how thoughtful Crystal has been with extra touches). The area itself is quiet, easy to find, and very accessable with comfortable parking. It was more than we asked for in all the right ways.
Thank you for taking care of our family!

Visit with family
Crystal was very prompt and accommodating. Only disappointment was no storage for items. When staying for a week I like to unpack.

Great little place in a great location!
We stopped in here while we were touring the Custer area of SD. It was a great location to be close to everywhere we went. The little grocery store is right down the street. I highly recommend getting pizza from Pizza Mill while you’re here too! Crystal had great communication and I loved the little added touch of a couple of water bottles and snacks at check in.

Excellent accommodations
This is an excellent property to stay at. From the beginning, the property owner communicated check in information. Access to property and parking was very convenient. The property is clean and has every necessary accommodation. My party had 4 adults and we all fit comfortably and the beds, sofa sleeper and futon were very comfortable. I will definitely return to this property in the future.

My husband and I spent four nights in this lovely little cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is quiet and central to so many things to do in the hills. The cabin has a large living room, full kitchen, bath and one bedroom. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. Would highly recommend this property.
