Ideal place to stay in Bridport....the VERY BEST option

Excellent food, can eat when you like and so cheap comparatively as usual. Great room with super comfy bed and fantastic shower. Very friendly staff. Right in the centre of town. Next to bus stop which goes all along the Jurassic coast.

The real ales are very good but if JAIPUR real ale was on tap we’d visit even more than we do now!

Good value for money for pub accommodation

Great room and location

Paper thin rooms. Had to knock on neighbours door to ask them to quiet down. Couldn’t sleep. Thought they had left their children and gone to the pub downstairs!

Right in the middle of Bridport with lots of independent shops and plenty of public parking.

A very large and comfortable room and extremely clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been nice to have parking at the premises.

A good place to stay in the heart of Bridport.

Beds really comfy. Room quiet although over main street. Room very clean. Staff very pleasant despite being really busy. Great location for wandering around Bridport. Possible to park close to hotel on the street between 5pm and 9am for free. Car park further down street for parking in day-time (charges apply). You can eat and drink on site.

The hotel has no parking spaces belonging to it but you can park close by. Access to our room was slightly delayed due to it being cleaned but the staff worked hard to get it ready and it was lovely and clean.

A surprisingly good stay!

The room was very clean and well laid out. It was great for our one night stay. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good as always. Staff very efficient and friendly

it is centrally situated so very convenient. the room was very comfortable & the staff were attentive & accommodating.

Did the job but wouldn’t stay again

The room was nice and spacious

2 single beds pushed together to make a double. No parking available during the day, and at night available but quite a distance away. The shower was horrendous, obviously a problem with water pressure as was like a trickle.

Great!!

Great town centre location, good value for money. We stayed in the family room, as it was the only one available, and it was HUGE!! Great that you can bring budget friendly drinks up from the 'spoons downstairs!! Friendly, helpful and efficient staff.

We stayed in the family room and I couldn't find a hairdryer; a minor inconvenience and I didn't ask staff so there may well be one available.

Superb

This is a very well located hotel, if you go down the side road which this hotel faces you can find parking from 6pm to 8am (you would need to check) for free and this is the only thing the hotel does not have but it is easy to find and only a short walk from the hotel. Adding a few hours to make up the time to 6pm on parking does not cost a lot in my opinion.

This was our second stay and we knew what to expect. Everything was good, friendly and helpful staff

Easy check in (and check out), friendly staff. Room was spotlessly clean and quiet. We had breakfast and that was very good, with an excellent choice.

Heating fan in bedroom was a bit noisy. No bottled water available in room.

Great place to stay, premises and the town.

Room was very clean, bed so comfy, shower heated quickly, staff very friendly and accommodating, coffee and tea with biscuits in the room was a nice touch. Very much enjoyed our stay. Second time of being in Bridport and would love to stay again, beautiful town and premises. Plenty to do and see and very eclectic shops for all.

Waiting almost 30 mins for our meal and when it did arrive it was Luke warm, chips under cooked, scampi coating was soft and not crispy. Mushy peas had started to dry on top, the pot of sauce I had, had been placed in the mushy peas and it wasn't ordered on my meal but the wife's meal, sauce was half empty and spilled down the side as if it was used by someone else and placed on my plate unfinished by someone. Niger was the only thing still steaming with heat everything else was under whelming. The meal we had the next evening was perfect, hot and tasty, ( all day brunch). The breakfast we had this morning was great too, ordered and arrive within 5 mins couldn't have been any better. We would still stay again as it's a lovely place to be.

A totally unexpected pleasant stay

What a pleasant surprise! From the quirky checking in cupboard to the size and quality of our room. All way beyond our expectations. We were attending an event locally so only had breakfasts, which were exactly as ordered and very enjoyable. We also thoroughly enjoyed the market on Saturday morning. Would certainly stay at The Greyhound again if in the area.
