Good value for money

Interesting arrangement, with two private bedrooms each with their own bathroom, and an open kitchen/living room space between. Balcony overlooked the pool and some of the town. Not far to walk to the main plaza where there are lots of restaurants, cafes, shops, etc and which is used as pick-up point for many of the tours (and it's downhill going to the plaza). Some people may find the mattresses a bit hard. Hotel provides drinking water as needed - just ask at the desk. Restaurant will provide evening meals but you have to ask in advance. Rooms are basic but have the necessities. No hair dryers or extras like that. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to meet others because it's a relatively small hotel. Be sure to ask for cleaning at least every other day, if not every day, since they ask you not put paper in the toilet system.

Location is a bit challenging. It's fine for those who are fit but if you have trouble with hills this is not likely the hotel for you. Also you must be comfortable with not putting paper in the toilet - not uncommon in Mexico.

It was really nice. I would stay there again.

The views are beautiful, so is the property. The staff was nice and accommodating. Our first night the AC wasn’t working initially and they were quick to respond via message and came in the morning to change out the remote batteries. Landscaping was beautiful. I really love that they had a water cooler for us in the room to refill our water bottles and cut down on purchases new bottles.

I liked everything, but the hike up to the property was a challenge at the end of a long active day and/or lots of drinking. Worth the views though.

Superb

Nice location a bit out of town. We stayed in a ground floor room that walked out into the pool area. Great views. Christina was very helpful and understanding.

Bed was a little small for 2 people but that is being picky.

All in all, I'd happily go back again as a solo traveler or with my husband.

It was quiet at night - no noise from the town center at all! The pool was lovely. The hotel was in a safe neighborhood.

The pillows were a little hard for my taste.

Great small hotel in a good location, with lovely staff.

Great location , about a 6 minute walk uphill from the main square. Cristina was very nice and helpful with any questions we had or anything we needed. Pool was nice and bed was comfortable.

Air conditioner was a bit loud in our room.

not impressed. the bed was horrible as I ended up with a sore back, body and couldn’t turn my neck. that’s both of us..

the room and the fact that nobody staff was around and no room cleaning, had to use same wet dirty towels not even a glass for water. no toiletries. was not clean.

Lovely place to relax!

First of, the property is so cute! It was very clean and quiet as we like. Love the water dispenser, great idea!

Hooks to hang all the towels and some sort of shelf by the sink for our toiletteries. The sink didn’t drain well.

Great small hotel with lovely pool and view and perfect location.

This location is perfect for Sayulita, far enough away from the noise of the bars but walking distance to town and the beach. It is a steep hill though if you are mobility impaired then you might want to rent a golf cart. The pool and view are lovey and our bed was surprisingly comfortable. It was really nice to be able to get breakfast onsite in the morning and the staff was very nice and accommodating. There was also a small fridge in our room which was great for storing snacks and drinks.

The bathroom in our room is a little small, but it wasn't an issue for us.

The toilet kept running and we needed to lift the top everytime to flush. Constant dripping sink faucet...right next to our bed....sink clogged

Was good!

The flowers and plants around the hotel were exceptional. The hotel is very quiet. I am assuming the room is too small to have a TV...was this mentioned in your brochure?

it was a little loud at night with the sound coming up from the city and late night party people coming home around midnight.

Over all we enjoyed our stay and the positives outweighed the negatives. as the noise and smoke could be issues anywhere

the grounds, pool, staff and location are wonderful!

it’s very noisy at night, not the hotel itself just the location. even for Mexico it was loud at night. also, smoke was coming in the open concept kitchen and living area with no way to close is off. the bedrooms have doors to close off so luckily most of the smoke was at night and we were ready to go to bed. Also, sun shines directly in the double room units in the morning until about mid day, so it is very hot.

Decent stay in quiet area outside of main town with mountain views

Good views of the mountains. There's a pool. Wifi was good. A/C was good. Quiet neighborhood.

The bathroom had a fairly strong moldy odor. I could hear guests at the pool and next door. The walk from town is all uphill, which would make it difficult for some. I didn't mind it, but you are a little away from everything.

beatiful relaxed hotel

the property was beautiful with amazing views and a lovely pool with a really relaxed pool area. we liked that it was quieter due to being a little further away from the town. some reviews say that this walk is too much but we enjoyed the uphill walk and then jumping in the pool! the lady who ran the hotel was brilliant and very welcoming.

the layout of our room was slightly disappointing. no bedside tables, no plug sockets anywhere near the bed. the bathroom light and main bedroom light are turned on by the same switch. the rules weren’t

charming spot, but level-up on health and safety

such friendly staff and nice pool area. views were good too

there was black mold in the A/C. I woke up in the middle of the night and wasn’t able to breath because my sinuses were so congested. another resident at the hotel alerted us to the black mold because he had some in his room and was coughing up blood from it.

Very good

Loved the staff. Very friendly. Especially Cristina at the front desk. Chris at the restaurant/bar was a great guy but his contract is done at the end of March. Nice little pool to relax at. Apparently they had a little trouble with noise from down below the hill, but that got taken care of by their neighbours who were equally irritated. The construction across the street wasn't a big problem.

Bit of a hike up the hill, but not bad. Especially after we found the shortcut via stairs. Good way to work off some of the beer and food from the town anyway.
